The female nipple is similar to the male nipple in every single way (bar the fact that it has an extra function of being able to produce milk for infants) so if we, as a society, are going to frown upon the public exposure of a female nipple then we should ban the exposure of a male nipple in public too. Except we won't because society is flawed like that, not to mention highly illogical, so instead we'll just continue to allow men to flash their pecs but frown upon an attractive female getting her boobs out.
My personal opinions are not endorsed by FileFront. But they should be.
Only from a woman would you get this sentence. One could argue that if you didn't want us staring at you, you wouldn't run around topless.
Wouldn't you feel a bit uncomfortable if you were shirtless and I was having a vacant-glare staring match with your nipples? It just seems like a situation to be avoided.

But what's the difference between a girl checking out a guys pecs when she notices them on, say, a building site to a guy checking out a girls boobs when she's on the beach? There is none. You can't expect to be able to stop and stare at a guys body and not have a man do the same back. To even think that is completely backhanded.

No, in fact, I would not. Because if I had a good enough body to be going around shirtless in the first place, I wouldn't mind women noticing. Because I'd have worked for that body. Many women are born with naturally beautiful bodies and work to keep them fit, and work to stay physically attractive. And then when us guys try and check you out, we get harangued for it? That's one of the worst injustices in gender relations in the history of the planet. Next to:
>Man gets mad at woman for legitimate reason
>Woman gets COUNTER mad at man, just for being mad
>Man admits he's stupid
>Man buys woman ice cream

Exactly. The ladies can check us guys out (well, us attractive ones anyways) all they like but heaven forbid we get caught looking.

Perhaps its because we associate all the curved limbs of a woman's body with sex?
The same way a man's mind instantly jumps to the bedroom fantasy when he sees nice-shaped female hips even though the sexual organs are not located in the hips.
Women are a symbol of softness and every unseen part of her which is soft and curvy arouses very manly sentiments in a male brain.

Amen to that. If a girl wants to check me out for my rockin' body then they are more than welcome. I've worked hard to get this body so I'd take it as a compliment if they want to take a long hard stare so, in my opinion, a woman should take it as a compliment if we want to check their bodies out, especially if they've worked hard on getting a figure like that. It's a no-win scenario. You don't notice their beauty, you get called an ignorant pig. You notice their body, you get called a pervert.
On a sidenote, I would like to point out I have worked hard for this body o' mine. It's the body of a god. Buddha, to be precise.
lol, point taken, but I don't stop and stare, it's just not something I care to do because I know I'd be uncomfortable with it. Usually if I see a ripped guy I shudder and wonder what kind of torture he had to put himself through to show that grotesque amount of muscle and how his body will react to the strain later. Overall, I really don't give a shit about that sort of thing. To be quite honest I notice eyebrows and shoes before torso, I have no idea where my eyes go to (OOOOH PHO RESTAURANT!!) in between those places.

Then you are the sort of woman that every female should strive to be, and that every man desperately wants. Obviously a small part of love is always going to be about physical/sexual attraction, but those things shouldn't matter most. I know they don't to me. Sure, I joke about in the Babe Forum and other places, but...when it comes down to it (at the risk of sounding like a prick) my last girlfriend wasn't ridiculously beautiful. But I loved her nonetheless.
And she loved me, in all my unhealthiness and fatness. That's all I really want, and I think that's all anybody really wants is to be loved for who they are, not what they look like.

Darn skippy, and please don't get me wrong, I'm not calling you guys "pigs" nor trying to, just voicing a female side of the argument (gosh it would be great if Lusty would back me up here :P ). I definitely agree that to a degree we all can be rather shallow, the point I'm trying to make is while it's nice to be appreciated should the physique allow for it, but it's just kinda awkward to be stared at like a zoo animal :P
And I also agree with you on relationships totes, your partner doesn't have to be perfect, nor should they or even you be. Thrive in those imperfections and embrace whatever advantages you may have as an added bonus, it'll make you much happier than simply a trophy wife in the long run. Well, unless you're a gazillionaire and you can afford to trade her in for the new model every 10 years or so (kidding!)
