The anti-tobacco lobby has proven in the past they're willing to lie and cheat to accomplish their objectives. Apparently lying is okay if it's for a good cause. These are the same people who run ads in Gamepro claiming a billion people will die from smoking in the 21st century and a person dies from smoking every 6.5 seconds (Though interestingly, these statistics don't match up at all)

Try and be charitable. One every 6.5 seconds equals just over 485,000,000 in a century (not counting leap years). Of course, the prevalence of smokers is always changing, so if the prevalence of smokers increases, then it wouldn't be hard to rack up a billion.

In fact, I think smokers should be taken to a small island where all they are given are cigs. Last one alive goes back home and goes into a detox center.

People should have the right to put in themselves what they please. (s s, dirty joke) I don't see why the government should have any right to ban flavored cigs. And in the case of the government they have the burden of proof. If they can't show why flavored cigs violate someone else's rights they don't have a right to ban it.

Even if they endanger the health of others? Which cigarettes do. You can say all you want that these could be smoked only when alone, or that other people don't have to stand beside them on the street, but that is not the point. The way it is now, smoking cigarettes, flavoured or not, is endangering the lives of other people.
