If you really did have spec ops with you the chances of getting shot are incredibly low. Poorly trained militias/civilians with guns aren't exactly known for being good at what they do.

not sure if you noticed but there going to have guns so capturing passengers is a bit harder when there armed too, it would be like robbing a bank with a pistol while the customers have oozies.

I was wondering about one thing myself. The tourists (what are they called again?) will be given rocket launchers, grenade launchers, and for a fee, AK-47s. Aren't these things that the pirates have access to? Perhaps not Stingers or anything, but most photographs I've seen of pirates shows them at least with an RPG of some sort, and every one has an AK-47 or similar rifle. It seems the equipment is more even handed than it ought to be? Don't get me wrong, a fair fight - except for the special forces backup - would certainly make for better television.
