Only thing that stuck out about about the whole event was that the secret service didn't jump in the way of the shoe

No, they quite epicly failed. The guy managed to throw a shoe, reach down, take off his other shoe, and throw it before even a single agent started to react, and it was then that Bush waved him off. The Iraqi journalists by the guy responded a lot more quickly then the secret service.

so are journalist more dangerous then actual terrorist?

oh wait PUB.

maybe they were not into the conversation because if i had just stand there waiting for something to happen i probably would just fall asleep.

well a guy with a big gun compared to a dude wielding a shoe is alot more dnagerous to me....

Well, it's considered an assault.. and if your job is to protect the man, then you have to, if it's only a shoe, why wouldn't you jump in front of it?

What if the shoe had a bomb or something in it? And your body blocked the president from getting severly damaged.

If it had a bomb...which it didn't i still wouldn't jump. Yeah it's my job but I hate Bush as well as many other leaders and well I would rather keep my skin thanks:p
