I can't remember were I seen the video but it was aload of republicans going into a McCain rally at some sports field centre place, some Obama supporters were outside and the McCain supporters just kept shouting all those insults like "Commie", "Socialist" etc
Then there was another one on a comendy show here in Britain called '8 out of 10 cats' and it showed a clip of what some average Americans think of Obama, of course it was "Baby killer" or a "Peadophile"... You couldn't make this up could you?

I've been to some rallies and the Obama supporters were yelling in screaming insults at us as well, but you'd never hear about that on the news.

If communism and socialism are so great, why have the majority of those societies failed or slowly started to become a capitalist country in certain aspects (China for example)?
Because people suck, they aren't interested in working together fairly and constructively. The reason capitalism has retained dominance in much of the world is because it is fine with people selling their souls to hedonism and materialism - and the leaders don't mind because they're all slaves to oil and power. Socialism would be the ideal democratic government, but because people following the American ideal prefer to twist it to suit their own agendas things invariably end up turning totalitarian. So instead of a nation of oppressed peons, we have in the USA a nation of ignorant, apathetic drones. Present company excluded of course.
Look at Western Europe and their implementation of a social democracy. If anything, Obama is taking that route and that is not a bad route to take. What they have now and the U.S.S.R had is completely different.
He's not taking that route. The GreenParty and Ralph Nader perhaps but Obama isn't. He's an inch closer towards the general direction of that route then McCain but that's it.

Well, I just think that once a person casts their vote, they take a small quiz on the person's policies so as to verify that they like the person for what they will do. There are a lot of retards who just vote because "He isn't Republican" or "He's black" etc... and it is those people that don't deserve to have a say in how a nation turns out.

The drawback of that is that some of those things could be seen as nice extra or things that extra respect (in the eyes of some people).
"being a could talker", "being half black" or "being a veteran" or "having undergone torture" doesn't make you qualified for the job, but it can be a nice extra (things that contribute to the personality of said runner with his views he or she has).
So getting an objective test would be quite tricky. How about "Are yo too fcking retarded to vote? "Yes" , "No" and "That is not for me to decide" and were only the last answer would grant you the ability to vote. Hmm or a better answer might be "I don't know, I think I am sane but lets debate about it".

This doesn't always work. I believe in the same core beliefs as McCain but don't agree with everything he's done.
I disagree with Obama's cores beliefs and disagree with what he says he wants to do . Except claiming he will give tax break to most(I don't support the spread the wealth idea).
