You seem to be ignoring the article at hand. And it's naive to think that, just from a few blogs, the Obama campaign has the most "hate and division". You have no proof of that and nor do I. It's something that's impossible to prove.

True, but I have noticed that there are more stories coming from the left about violence and other outrageous things towards the other campaign.
You say anything bad or even show support for the McCain campaign and you have Obama-nuts calling for your death, saying you should be stoned, boycotting you, sending threats, etc...
What happend to freedom of speech? I thought people understood eachother on beliefs and opinions and respected that, there should be no hate between someone just because of who you are voting for.

You know, really from the videos I have seen of average citizens who support McCain are complete idiots, their only argument is "He is a commie" "Baby killer" "Socialist", I mean what? There are people who support McCain who can't even crasp what socialisum even is. They are media brain dead sheep.

I think it depends on which side you lean slighty more towards, people who lean right, seem to find things that reinforce that the leftwing are most antagonistic, while leaning left types, always find sources that says the oppasite true.

I normally just voice what i feel i see, plain and simple, of course its not perfect and people seem to decide from what you say "which side" you are on, but in my life, i am nobodies side, i just say what i think, people assuptions of what comments are usually a trademark of a certain type of politics so put you into that group.
By my majority viewpoints i should be considered "right wing, conservative, Christian" i suppose, but why is their sides.
It is sad that so many people feel they have to dislike those who disagree with them.
Yup. aslong as the person with a different view of you poses no threat to you then it should be too hard to just react neutral (polite) to them. I wonder if this women could ever be friends with a Democrat, or worse, a GreenParty voter/member.
Or even better, what would she do if her husband or child said "Hey, I think I'm going to vote democrat/green party this time".
