| I think that the Parents are more at fault then the video game creators. I love Gears of War. Hell, I think its one of the sickest games ever, but just because Parents are making retarded decisions to let there 8 year olds get Xbox Live and Gears of War isn't the Video Game companies fault. Thats why they have an M for mature rating, so the adult who plays it can actually handle it. And the idocity of Parents is displayed right there in that video of the little girl.

| I don't think we can blame the parents totally for kids shooting up a school after playing some doom 3. Some people who are old enough to buy these games blame them for their actions. There are people who have mental problems that went un-noticed by society. It all depends on how you look at the game. Most of us just look at as a way to pass time and meet new people. Other people take them too seriously(cos-play people anyone?) If every kid had a bible instead of a video game controller we would still see violence except this time it would be blamed on God or Jesus instead of a video game. Kids would have their own interpretations of the bible, and some will not be the friendly love you neighbor type. There are enough people playing video games that you will run into a few who have mental problems that are made worse by video games. It is something that is inevitable. Trying to stop people from blaming their problems on video games is like trying to achieve world peace.

| Bill O'Rielly is just opinionated like many of these commentators. If you want to see far worse in terms of sheer bias, just go check out the 700 Club. Though I think it's stupid to use the little girl in this manner, the adults could have just as easily done this. Billo could have just been the big man and ignored this idiotic ploy though.

| Yeah you do have a point, it was an obvious ploy to get this girl on T.V.

It's sad that O'Reiley even got beaten by a little girl in a debate, just sad.

![]() ![]() I do own an alarming number of books but most of them are still down South at the moment.Eh, I wouldn't own one even if there wasn't a TV tax. Sure I disagree with the tax on principle, £160 can provide all my service bills for about five months, but they don't really show any good movies anyway and most of the good TV shows are gone or twisted into shadows of their former selves. You can go to cable or satelite if you want to hand over yet more money, it won't net you a huge increase in watchable shows though. Having a TV just isn't worth the purchase, it would sit in a corner looking ugly and taking up space until I moved it into a cupboard so I could put a bookshelf or something there. There's a TV in my old room at my parent's place back down South covered in thick layers of dust but as far as I know it hasn't been turned on since the last Voyager episode aired.

| ROFL, I like the alcohol in the background, 2's a party and 3's a fiesta! The giant bug zapper on the front must come in handy during summer months. But FileFront Gaming Forums? Who the hell uses that site?
