I'm not voting for Barrack Obama just because hes a democrat, I'm not voting for Obama because I believe his views to be radical and rediculous. While Mccain is more of a "Moderate Conservative" I do not agree with him on some of his policies and tactics, but prefer him over Barrack Obama.

Fair play, good to see people choosing candidates based on (what they believe to be the best) policy rather than party alliance :)

If there was a Democratic canidate better then a Republican one I would have no problem voting for him

John McCain stands for what I believe in, and I hate the Democrats. I want him to be elected as the president of the United States of America, as his wisdom and his policies will benefit the entire world, but more importantly it will keep the Democrats out of the Oval Office because I hate them for some reason. If I were to go around criticising him, that would reduce his chances of being elected into power - why would I do that? I need people to believe he is perfect in every way so that I can get my personal views represented in American government, whether the rest of the people believe the same or not. People, on the other hand, don't need a balanced view of either of the candidates, they just need to vote for who is Right. Or rather, who I believe is Right. Which is fact, of course.

Plus Rep for that. I agree with most of it except the hatred towards Democrats. Most of the time I dislike them and disagree with them, however like I said before, if there was a good canidate and he was better then the Repubican one, then I would vote for him.

why people are stupid... hmm...

well i personally think its because they were stupid as children. i mean you learn a lot of things and they stick well when your young. so probably no one told these kids about respecting others opinions or free thinking.

Something to think on:

Think to yourself how stupid the average person is, then realize this: Half of them are dumber than that.

A note on the bible. Debate its historical accuracy all you want, but please realize that the versions of the bible you read today are incomplete. Emperor Constantine chose the books to be included in the modern bible, and he left out many writings that could have been included. The Gnostic Gospels and the Dead Sea Scrolls illuminate some of the omissions, and they are staggering omissions, if you simply open your mind and read them.

No book written by men, edited by men, and compiled by men can be perfect.

The problem is we are naturally not objective people, and when we see someone with a different view point we often exagerate our own to counter theirs. Rather than say "yeah McCain is a war-mongering, planet destroying nutter which I like, but I think he might be too old", people say "McCains the man to take us into world war three, and his age doesn't matter, it just means he has experience."

When we look at something we often see the merits and the flaws, when we talk about that same thing to something else (and we support that thing) we forget about the flaws.
