I just pretty much lol'd. Do these people understand that the word was designed to be offensive? Seriously these liberal MP's need to be kicked out of the government and such (those who are that strong and ingorant). It should be some national law that you should look into something before questioning it.

If I see a pack of teenage yobs dressed like they are out for a run and sort over glued wet hair I will call them Chavs, even if it does become racist. You aint going to stop me.

Everyone on the internet is a 16 year old bisexual catholic schoolgirl with no waist, enormous breasts, faux insecurity, 3 PhDs in everything, an 11" penis, and is rich and successful beyond my wildest dreams.

I could have sworn the article said that it was The Fabian Society think tank which made this 'suggestion'. I didn't even see it mention the government or any MPs...

Here in Austria we call the sort of people that you call chav Prolo, short for Prolet, a member of the proletarian class.
That doesn't mean you hate the working class when you say it.

Is it not a counter-culture group like goths, emos, or bogans?

I take it chavs have the option of not being chavs, but choose too because they want to, because it offers a culture they find desirable.
