Actually from the study I remember, it's a bit different.
Women, fantasize about sex more often than men.
And I myself would say, that yes, women are more sexual than men. Even if more indirectly.
Men are far more direct

I guess I could agree with that. Since women are brought up to "suppress their sexual urges," they would probably end up thinking about the forbidden more than man who are really allowed to be openly sexual. It's similar to the churchy girl I mentioned earlier.
If I recall, the average is 6 thoughts per hour on average for men towards sex, what's it towards women.
I voted no, because in the world where people interact, beyond the mind, if such a place truly exists, women due typical show less open interest in sex and are less active on their thoughts than men.
Sexual as I would define it is one's apparent interest in sex, versus one's inner interest.
I believe that homosexual males and women both have personalities that are more sexually driven that males. Whether or not they both reveal it, or think it about sex I believe that there bodies are sending messages to their brains conditioning their personalities .
Im not sure what habits and behaviors of women that I notice make me believe that they are in fact more sexual but I do believe in it. Whether women think about it or not , I believe that there bodies are more sexual , without thinking about it naturally there bodies would not be as driven or direct as males however female bodies scientifically do have the larger, and multiple orgasms. I believe that there body is very much so more sexual but perhaps controlled at an early age where as a man gets an instant urge and does not practice control, yes ,perhaps I believe in that single statement. I still believe over all women are more sexual by nature but perhaps just more controlled. Its a weird concept but I will look into it more. Speculate further if you wish.

I'm glad I’m not average, I’d hate to think about sex as much as most men apparently do, especially during the day hours. During the evening it's different, but even then... six times an hour just strikes me as.. odd.
I don't think the multiple orgasms are a factor, men can achieve multiple sessions per hour, but you wouldn’t be able to find those who act on their current state of mind as much as they think about it, even if they didn’t have jobs, school or other things to do.
The "drive" is a chore more than anything; being single will do that i guess. :P

I wonder though if they are trying to say that it is conscious and non conscious drives, thoughts, increases or imbalances, fluctuations yaddy yadda or like but different chemical changes which send sexual ideas to your body whether or not you are aware of those messages consciously.
The body is chemical and physical , females generally seem to have larger doses of sexual ...substance , however they seem to be more mature and controlling over it. I still say the multiple orgasms are a factor, your average male can achieve a few within an hour but no where near as much as a female can.
I don't think they are necessarily more controlling about it, I just think females in general are more reserved, due to their personality or their upbringing. I'd say my mom's a 2nd-gen feminist, and my dad prefers not to discuss things she already has, so I think that's made me more prudish than most of my male and a good amount of my female peers. This may seem kinda offtopic, but I'm trying to point out that gender doesn't seems to play as big as role as your upbringing. It just happens that girls are generally influenced more and told to be more conservative with their sexuality.
I would say no and yes. It depends what you define as sexual. Looks, sex drive, or something else. It's been proven that most teenage girls, 17 and under, are much more mature then teenage boys, 17 and under. But once they hit the 18 mark, they're maturity drops dramaticly and the boys raises abit. The reason for this is thought to be because 18 is the age where you are considered an adult and your body is basicly done growing and your mind is fully developed, so because of that they are tricked into thinking they can do almost anything. We as human beings are so sick and twisted that way. By the way this only goes for America, I don't know if this applies for any other countries. Women are more sexual by nature but they're sex drive is not as strong. We men are less sexual but our sex drive is alot stronger and if a girl near our age, that we think is "hot", offers us sex, we will most likely take it. There are those few girls who will say yes immediatly if they are offered it by a boy they think is "hot". And there are those few boys who will say no. So yes Women are more sexual by nature but their sex drive is not as strong.
