3845332 debate with a christian: is there GOD? semicookie August 8th, 2007 09:36 AM james is one of our customers whos a christian. just now we had a dissucsion on is there GOD exist. i post it here with his permisssion .claim that i do not oppose anyone who has a religion. and its good to have one. I used to be that way for many years but then I came up with a question I coudl not answer Where do I go when I die rotting? lol If we just rot in the grave.. then why not rape, rob and steal your whole life.. taking advantage of everyone? No GOD means no reward for being kind.. and no punishment for being bad theres sociaty society* But who determines what is right and what is wrong the ppl So if we the people vote tommrow that you should be hung.. then that woudl be right? ppl are not all blind True.. but in America. We had slavery for 300 years. Everyone wanted it and we all voted for it but it was still wrong People vote their desires they dont often vote their convictions theres no pure right or wrong, the justice works for humans no human, no justice the universe works well without life This is true One of our great documents says sorry if this make u think i am an extremlist but err.. That all men are created equal. OH no you are very smart I am impressed I would never think badly of someone who has thought and determined a course of action for themselves you are to be commended I wish you were a christian thx but other than that you are very very smart and impressive i dont think theres one whos name is GOD, but if all goodness and justice equals to GOD, then GOD is goodness and justice just like 1+1=2 2=1+1 as well Well GOD loves you even if you dont know him lol and he is in China One day he will give you the chance to meet himself and then you will have a choice when i die? and thats up to you No before then when you die is too late lol anyway Not to brow beat you your friend did not know what IDK means it mean i dont know but idk what 'Not to brow beat you ' means lol very good Oh.. sorry its an idiom "I am not trying to force you to take my opinion over your own" cool thx i thought about the life thing b4 I can tell I know that without GOD,, I would be the most evil of men lol Its his goodness and promises that restrain me personally because if I am going to just die and lay in the grave.. Individual people are very kind but as a group they tend to be very self interested have you ever read about a fire at a movie theater or a bar The people inside stomp on old people and children to escape People are very kind and polite .. until they are under pressure and then you see their true self when it comes down to it.. when things are bad. people act selfish most of the time why selfish? and why not? Because without GOD we are no better than the animals that are on the planet yes, goodness and justice are GOD. and we should have goodness and justice. i mean then we'd have GOD yes but GOD is more than goodness and justice he is all those things and he is incredible mercy no matter what you have done he will forgive you and love you but he has another side and that is judgment he must judge the wicked because he is just think the planet without life. what did he do when theres no life? He existed.. what justice was there when theres no life? and goodness and anything he stands for sry i dint mean to shake down ur beliefe. but i have thought about it for long. and finally i got a guy whos willing to listen oh no I am not offended I love talking to you about stuff it makes your mind grow to listen to others opinions and i'd been to the deadcorners and got lost like when u met with the death problem I see now when i asked why, i also ask why not what if it was not like this? very good that is good logic like what if ppl dont do good to each other? what the world would be like what if theres no moral things true even if the moral thing was not perfect it work for men the men who believe in it an abey it abay*? agreed so just like the slavery thing yes the moral standards worked for the white so the white were good to each other yes but the moral thing did not include the black ppl and the slavery worked well in the early days of human history without anyone had any doubt about it yes it WAS right and if the slaves once get freed or defeated the slave owners, they will do the same thing to them too True But see GOD says it was not right GOD punished the after seanons for the ancestors fault, is it right? is it right that GOD ruled us? rule* punish us like we are his slave? It is complicated He did under the old law. If you are not a christian you are his enemy but if you are a christian he treats you like his daughter he may punish you to spare you from something worse isnt he treat all human his son and daughter? if you are not in his family .. you are in his wrath so how about the justice of other religions and goodness sons and daughters mothers love brothers love fathers love kindness is he threaten those who doesnt belive in him? hes an impiror? warlord? do u think its justice if u destroy whos not agree with u? No That is the way it has been in the world in thepast so he did bad things whos gonna punish him? The problem is sin Sin destroys life and ruins hope GOD only destroys people who die in their sin He does not kill people who disagree with him the sin is ppl didnt believe in him No In the begining we as humans were designed to be perfect We did not grow old.. did not get sick and did not die we had fellowship with GOD.. face to face.. He gave us a choice to stay that way or to make our own choices we chose to make our own way But because of that we had the choice to sin.. which we did so GOD who is perfect could no longer see us face to face what is sin, why a sin just because we left GOD? so hes angry that is part of it No.. he is sad he misses us but there is a problem GOD is perfect hes everywhere, isnt he? 3845333 semicookie August 8th, 2007 09:37 AM and everthying around him must be perfect we are not any longer why couldnt he meet us? what is the standard to be PERFECT? Because he is perfect and his perfection requires him to judge right and wrong His without any bad or fault every for all time bad to whom? perfect GOD fault to whom? whose fault? The only person able to judge completely is one who has no fault why fault? why is one thing a fault? Because there is a right and wrong for whom? Because it causes pain and suffering right for whom? wrong for whom? Sin causes death and suffering that is why its wrong its not that he want to keep us from doing fun things its that he wants to keep us from hurting ourselves or others theres no human, theres no right or wrong just because of a little pain? no there was right and wrong before we got here Every death, , every rape,,, every starving child.. every mother who lost a son in war.. every single hurt feeling.. injustice .. was caused by sin did he created the white or did he created the human? there should be one answer, right? only one choice He created all men and women to be equals.. . all loved equally by GOD allthough chinese women are the most lovely thx lol but why didnt he mentioned anything about us in his bible? he did you are mentioned in the book of revelation nor we had nothing heard about him America is not mentioned either i mean in the history instead we had Buddha dont know I dont like him He was scarey to me when I was a child I love dragons though lol so when u meet this deadcorner, what s ur solution there must be an answer I trust GOD tho i got one u have a dragon? an answer lol oic to make it all reasonable wanna listen? but its hard to accept this, i'd spent long time to do it theres GOD, but hes not a man and he has no form he exist in our mind sometimes hes name is buddha sometimes hes name is GOD sometimes hes name is justice sometimes his name is goodness and the truth is like i said before, all goodness and justice and things like that is GOD, so GOD is all thosethings it is cheap to believe someone would come to save me when we meet problems sry for the comment I see No I understand your honest about your thoughts thx GOD does not ask you to be stupid or to not think he appreciates honesty in your questions lol My country was established with GOD as the principle founder of its ideals My country will fall soon nah and China will be the world leader i dont think so Its true We have become morally bankrupts the us is a great country we will fall just like Rome and Greece they fell from moral problems too yes the US is a great counry country never has a country had so much power and did so little evil with that power ppl in all over the world face the same problem thats why we need moral and punishment so do you know any really hot 29 - 36 year old women in china? someone with a nice smile ? :P and the evil deeds makes us to strict to our moral That was my joke.. lol True its complecated thats human well I dont think Chinese women would want to come all the way to the US to live anyway well. tons of them would lol they admire the life in the us its nice here and wanna quit their poor life but love is most important me too I make very good money and I am not rich whys that, spent too much on women? lol yes lol The term we use for that is Spent too much on wine and song thats life yes. well I have enjoyed out talk I have a 1 hour meeting but I will be on messenger after that time have a wonderful day cool u2 wb brb hey hey do u mind if i post our conversation in the forum?
