Western Society

why do westerners think so highly of themselves, when the western world has thugs walking streets, too much sordid sex, single mothers, homosexuals, people who value material things over life.

why are you so proud of such degrading traits?

Western society is corrupt.

It is driven by wealth, and the desire for personal fortune, leading to some of the grossest scenes outside of McDonalds.

Let me put it this way....it's better than the alternative.
Also, most of the things you mentioned are not necessarily bad and a matter of opinion.
You seem to take your own opinion for fact.

Greed is what has made the western world as dominat as it is. What incentive is to invent something if you won't make a killing off of it? Sex something that fun to do, and gives you a rush like a drug, but it is legal.

I love western society. I can go and clog my arteries on some tasty McDonalds at 3am. I can easily get ahold of nearly any drug. All I need is a few bucks and some good words to get laid.

Now I am going to rant about eastern society. If you think we are screwed up, look in your own front yard. You got a pedophiles paradise in south east asia. In china, if you are the first born child and a girl you are either going to get thrown out on the street, killed, or sent away to a orphanage. Asians can't use birth control properly, and as a result you got 1/3 of the world's people. Asia is the homeland of many terrorist organzations. %90 of the world's opium is grown in Asia. You have kids drying becuase they spend 50 hours in front of a computer. People die on a daily basis in chinese factories while earning only enough to keep themselves alive.
