1. Not all do. I believe its possible to live happy, probably much more happy, elsewere in the world.

5. Homosexuals exist in ALL countries, probably in the same proportion than in the west. There are probably more declared homosexuals here, since they won't be thrown rocks at in the West, so that means in other countries there are more closet homosexuals, who will live unhappy faking to love their wifes (to look "normal") and loving another man in secret. In the West, you can do whatever you want in your bed, the state does not and shouldn't care about what happens there.
6. Most people value life over material things, we aren't all "capitalist pigs" like you seem to think we are. Even then, I'm certain a lot of the most capitalistic persons still value life over material things. However, it is true that materialism is rampant, and this can be a good or bad thing depending on the point of view.

Ahh I disagree with that . She is not the chinese governement, what she says does not mean it happens. She has her opinions, and she wants the people she hate to be beaten. I have read a large number of americans who hinted they wanted to beat some democrats or liberals. The governement rarely (it happens) beats people, but the people sometimes want to see other people beaten. That happens in the West too.
I think my country has a lot of things wrong with it, but at least I am free to say so.

I may believe that my country is corrupt as well, and abit of a piss-pot, but I'm free to say so, and I can take some action towards changing it. However, its not all bad, there is alot of good. You just have to take the rough with the smooth.

THe difference is that The US and Canada are modern countries, where the people are free and equal before the law, poverty is extremely low compared to, say, China, and the standard of living is extremely high. Although i don't approve of every aspect of Western Civilization or the US in

Everyone is supposed to be equal under communism. The government is hypocritical. They say the farmers who need the kids can't have more than one, yet the government officials, who have no need for them can have as many as they want.

I disagree. Someone can be proud of many things in China. Its a beautiful country, with a rich history that has done great achievements. Even if it is done at a great price, China is also the fastest growing country in the moment. The people there have plenty of reasons to be patriotic if they feel like it.

Well, he meant that our governements don't beat people (they do, of course, but to a lesser extent). When it comes to opinion, a lot of people in the West want to see other people beaten, to think otherwise is foolish.
