For what reason though? I can see if a drunk is fighting with somone, and nothing has got him to stop. You don't hit a person just because he/she is drunk. The best thing to do would be to offer than a ride home, or if they are looking for a fight, lock up for the night to let them dry out. My mom has many stories of getting free rides from the cops in the 1980's

Yes they do and I considered myself pretty straight and narrow growing up, but every child or young adult makes mistakes and bad decisions - it is our ability to learn from our mistakes that make us well rounded adults.
