That is like asking "What is wrong with theft?"

Or "what is wrong with property".

I don't understand your cut and dry logic though. Just because a person believes in a political ideology you don't believe in, that makes them a horrible individual? Just because she is Communist doesn't make her a sheep or a select reader. There are Capitalist sheeple who are select readers too...

I was kind of joking with the commie part, hence the reason I said commie and not communist. And I never said being communist makes here a select reader or a sheep, I said she is a commie, a select reader, AND a sheep. They are unrelated.

Yes, but she has made it evident through this thread, and replies to her posts alone that she deals with things of her choice (to a "convenient" degree).

I have to agree, when reading your answers Look at that!, I'm thinking that you most likely started this thread to piss people off.
What you do is condemning the whole western society. 99% of all people in this forum where born and raised in the western society. We who live here, love it.
Is it 100% perfect?
Of course not, we have our fair share of problems.
But believe me, so does China. I don't know how much the media reports inside China, but something tells me that you only get half the news.
On the other hand, I can understand that you defend China and its ideals. I'm positive that your goverment are watching this place, like they do with all big places on the internet, so of course its in your best interest that you write as positive as possible about China, even though that every body here knows that you deep inside know that your system in China is far from being the best.
I suggest you apply for that paper that gives you permission to leave the country (which is something we don't have to, since we can travel freely where ever we want) and take a trip around the world to see what there is on other places.
My guess it that you most likely never will return to the place you call your home country.

Yes, but at least in a free society you have the option free thinking. While in China you're spoon fed the state ideology from birth, so you have to be a sheeple like it or not.

heres what I think, I think this thread is about points of view. Like for an example I could claim Canada is the best place to live, or other could claim there country is the best place live also. We all know that GF brings in differnet people around the world, so each of them will have there own points of view about there country, Gov't and people.

Never said you were a horrible person, I'm sure you are atleast a decent enough human being. I just think you've been blinded by Chinese propaganda. I don't hold it against you, for anyone can be turned into a sheep when the government has such a heavy hand. In the U.S. we know th joys of almost unlimited knowledge at our fingertips. We can access just about any kind of information, and any point of view we want, thus enriching our knowledge. The West is like a mountain top. Not in that we are higher or better then others, but in that we can see everything that goes on in the world around us. Unfortunately when you fall from a mountain, it is a long way down.
