Re: Western Society

Listen... the West is almost exclusively made up of stable democracy, with highly debated policies and freedoms.

The East still has communism and dictatorships in large numbers (although some Western nations do have that, not as many). For example... China. It is a one party system, full of oppresion and misery.

We are more enlightened in general.

Your posts reek of irony and you portray yourself as a hypocrite.

You make assumptions and your opinions are not yours but your mother's.

Don't be so silly.

You are so brainwashed, you do know there is charity and religion here don't you?

There are police, charitable organisations, big debates over the morality of things, appeals here

We are not that much diffrent, only in eastern world people seem to think of the west as one big corrupt company, and stereotype westerners alot (if you are anything to go by, anyway).

:D

Also, may I say your English is very good for a Chinese person.

you are all idiots,

Your moral basis doesn't seem to be any more secure than those of most Western people, you swear, you insult, you even act in violation of binding legal agreements. Trying to take a morally superior position doesn't help when you act at the same level as most other people.

Probably because she's a third-generation immigrant in Virginia.:lookaround:

Reminds me of the Vietnam war. The Westerners who thought North Vietnam was a wonderful had never actually BEEN there, and if the few who did had spent their stay in ritzy hotels, with no contact with the normal people.

As noted many times before, she is a very selective reader. On another note, does this remind anyone else of the Matrix?
