Drug Issues

Okay, so I saw my psychologist 2 months ago, and after a short talk about recent events, and issues I was having, she said that I was starting to sound a little depressed. Last month, I tried to commit suicide. I failed, obviously. But that's not the point. She's put me on some drugs to, and I quote, "help me feel better."

They worked fine for about 2 weeks, but a few days ago they started giving me wierd visions, all I could hear were people screaming at me and saying wierd phrases. It was just like what people describe the 'trips' of LSD and other drugs as. Is this a normal side effect, or is it not?

Little hard to know when you haven't bothered to say what medication you're on. They're not all the same.

WebMD ftw. Doesn't say anything about hallucinations. If you really are experiencing hallucinations, you should be telling your doctor, not us.

Okay. Just wondering if anyone else has used the drug and had hallucinations.

A public internet forum full of nonprofessionals is probably not the best place to get an answer for something like that. Do what Inyri said, talk to your doctor about it.

yeah that and...suicide at age 13? Christ how bad can life be at such a young age?

Bad enough to get the drugs, apparently. Sell that shit and then tell your doctor about it!

Okay, some of these are little things but it all mounts up.

• Bullied.
• Once was knifed.
• People judge me on my looks.
• I have sight issues, and I am laughed at because of my glasses.
• I once had a loaded gun pointed at me.
• My dad used to assault me. (He would still, if not for the social services coming round)
• I used to have dreams where I saw myself dead.
• Very few people understand me.
• Because of this, I have few friends.
• Even my 'friends' say upsetting things about me and then claim they were joking.
• The S.E.N.D. in my old school provided me with an untrained helper, who consistently made fun of me, even though she had to be at least 50.
• The only place I have to speak properly is here, where no-one judges me.

That's more or less it.

You're 13. Your life has barely started. To kill yourself now would be an insult to people who really have it rough. Being laughed at because of your glasses is kind of a pathetic reason to commit suicide. :/
