Homosexuality is not contagious. Adopted children of homosexual parents are not more likely to become homosexuals themselves. This claim is supported by statistics from all countries that have chosen to be mature enough to allow adoption by homosexual parents.

Likewise with people who have homosexual friends. They do not risk becoming homosexuals themselves. It really is that simple.

In short: There is no reason to dislike a certain sexual orientation.

Not necessarily, as those who are in deep denial about their own sexuality have very good reasons. Homophobia projected onto others is directly related to insecurities with their own sexuality.
If you are truly comfortable with your own orientation, then what does it matter what anyone else does?

I assume, then, that you don't live in Xinfeng County, in Jiangxi Province. The government there has decided that a lot of money can be made growing oranges in that part of China. And so the propaganda shows how good growing oranges is. The photo in this book (bottom right) is an example of government propaganda:



You see? The government DOES use propaganda, whether you like it or not. Did you arrive at your opinion of homosexuals by carefully weighing up both sides, or have you just "known it is wrong" for as long as you can remember?

that is just encouraging people to grow oranges, it is no diffrent to endorsing recycling or saying how good a career is in a certain field
