Media and politics

The media has an undeniable role in the political world.

The Sun, a newspaper in England basically controls the political landscape in that whoever they supported for decades now has always been elected.

Is this a bad thing? Does this mean that media has even more power than should be allowed?

Re: Media and politics

Does the media have stupidly effective powers over politics? Yes.
Does the media spin things to fit their own agendas? Absolutely.
Are New York Times editors liers and scumbags? You know it.
Should the government pass legislation restricting it? Absolutely not.
