I didn't read the whole thing but i got the message, and i totally agree. Muslims seem to be too extreme in their views, constantly breeding these extremists who whant to kill everybody around them. They claim to be religious yet act none of the like. It's sad really.

Just kidding. I just find it funny that people complain about extremist Christians (and there are some, those who blow up Abortion Clinics and think all gays should be rounded up and shot) and yet they ignore how passive the religion is as whole compared to Islam. I also think that extremist leaders in the Arab world had a hand in whipping many of those described Muslims into a fury. (The fact that they're not exposed to free speech doesn't help)

I'd argue that the people reporting the extremism are predominantly Christian sources, and that the non-extremist muslims are in such a vast contrast to the extremists that they are almost unnoticed. I've never met an extremist muslim, and I have to say the non-extremists are incredibly nice, passive, and intelligent. It's hard to view both parties and being from the same religion.

I'm sure if we were in a middle-eastern country they'd be saying the same thing about Christians and Jews in terms of extremism. It's all about point of view.

That's my point - saying they must be mostly extremists because that's all you hear about isn't true. The gradient from passive to extreme is very sharp - there doesn't seem to be much in between for the muslim people. You're either nice or you want to blow people up :lol:.

Not all muslims are crazy and evil. I know a few and they say the middle east is currupt and run by madmen. In their religion there shouldnt be presidents and such, only a small council of about 12 men as the supposedly "rulers" and thats it. They use to be a tolerant people and very respectful...until israel happened. Gee let me go to texas and cut land for the jewish people because they suffered alot and need a home.

Saladin was a bit on the gay side. He allowed the Christians to live, BECAUSE he wanted to be seen as a great man so the Christians wouldnt retaliate and attack again to retake the city...little did he know about...OH YESS THATS RIGHT...THE MAN...Richard the fuckin LIONHEARTED! Saladin couldnt care less about any other religion rather then his own. He tried to be seen as a great man...BUT HE WASNT. He was also a ruthless killer.
All this isnt solving the problem or question, because this all happened back in the day...as time went by the arabs were tolerant and calm, and werent crazy like today because no one cared for them. They lived in peace without any problems...UNTIL THE ALLIES GAVE ISRAEL TO THE JEWS. They all retaliated because we saw borders between syria, palestine, lebenon, etc BUT THEY DIDNT...they believed in an islamic republic, and when you go into a country and cut land and take it from a people their ganna get pissed.

Your link automatically disregards everything you say, and think, with me. And the Wind, Israel isnt a theocracy(atleast not yet). Alot of leaders in the middle east are NOT religious. Mainly, look at egypt, libya, SAUDI ARABIA, Jordan, Lebonon, etc. etc. And about freedom of speech, there is freedom of speech over there, just not in the press and news papers, and TV etc..how do you think alot of people over there hate thier current leaders, and want to advance thier countries, and know about the freedoms in europe and the USA?
