Well, it's that time of the month again and I have some amusing stories to share.

Amusing Anecdote Issue #2: Tales in Liberal Lunacy

There's this teacher at my high school, a cop as well. He's a nice enough guy and a decent teacher, but still somewhat of an oaf. He stupidly preaches (Almost unknowingly, which makes it all the more hilarious) his liberal rhetoric to his Civics/Econ class. I wasn't paying attention, as I usually don't, when the word "Republican" caught my ear, so I looked up. He paused, stared at the ceiling and looked back at the class. Then he said, "And you know this'll bring out all the 'gun-toting' Republicans". I rolled my eyes and continued to read. He paused, looked up, then down again and said, "I mean, 'gun-toting' liberals..." I looked at a friend who raised an eye brow and looked at me. The he paused again and said, "I think you know what I'm trying to say...". Then he sat down at his desk and started playing an online flash game on his computer. Now that's class.

Amusing Anecdote Issue #3: Tales in Liberal Hypocrisy

This actually happened just today, at home. I don't remember what I was discussing with my mother (Who's a die-hard lib, by the way.) but she says, out of nowhere, "You hear what Bush is doing now?" I shrug my shoulders and she says, "He's selling our ports to 'the Arabs'!" This simply blew me away. Now I've heard Rush talk about liberal hypocrisy and one-sided-ness on these types of issues but I had yet to personally experience this kind of incedent. I turned around and let her have it. Everything from "You accused me of seeing the world in 'black and white'." to "The UAE is the most Western-ized and legitemate Arab economic association there is." I completely turned everything she has ever said about Republicans "de-humanizing" terrorists and labeling all Arabs and profiling and everything else about the issue around on her. I told her about Bill Clinton selling the UAE 60 F-16 fighter jets in 1998 and how no one complained about that. I told her about how Jimmy Carter supported this (She loves Jimmy Carter). I told her about how the "story" was out even before the Dick Cheney hunting accident story. This all went over her head, disappointingly. But whatever, I was satisfied.

If anyone else here has an amusing story about those zany liberals feel free to share them here!

I know an anekdote of a silly Republican posting silly anekdotes that pretty much say nothing at all. The main reason being that a single individual who favours on party over the other and what he or she does is totlally irrelevant to what the party stands for.

Oh and the liberals should be in favour of selling these harbours. Liberals want as few restirctions and laws as possible and fight for a market that is as open as possible. However some left winged parties such as a (democratic-) socialst party or your Democrat Party might be against though.

Disliking Bush or even bashing him is an other thing then disrepecting the Republican party or it's followers. Mind you that respecting an other party or point of view does NOT mean that you support these ideas. I am a democratic socialist, yet I respect parties who have opposit views such as the concervatives and liberals, they might be central or right winged but that doesn't mean that I can't respect them. I do however dislike the current central-right coalition of the Christian Party (CDA), D-66 and VVD.
