Allow me to wiegh in on amoreeltiesoldier's post as well:
1st, the Somalia thing: Forces were sent into Somalia as one of Bush Sr.'s last acts as PotUS. It was to support peacekeeping and to quell chaos. So in other words, a good thing. Less than 50 Rangers and Delta Force died during the entire operation in Somalia, and people in the Rangers and SOFD-D are not ones who are afraid to fight in the tough situations.
2 Lewinsky: It can be considered sexual harassment, but that hardly affected his governing capabilities.
3, Impeached: Yes, but they did not find him guilty of the orignal charge, only perjury(lying under oath) . He was not booted out of the Whitye House, as so many Republicans wanted
4,OBL: The source for this offer is unreliable if you are getting it from where I think you are, I want to see some links! And he also prevented many terrorist attacks that were planned.
5, Saddam: He was not a threat to the USA at that time, and although an evil tyrant, he kept a etremist-free house.
6, Israel-PLO beef: This has been going on since 1948 and then some, has anyone else done anything about it?
Oh, and thanks for bringing up Kosovo. That is one of my favorite things about Clinton. He got good intel he got good support, and he kicked ass with very few casualties

Not afraid to die, who is not afraid to die? Tell me. Just because they are 'elite' soldiers, that doesn't mean that they are not afraid to die.

An set that aside for a moment, what does not being afraid of dying have to do with anything? "Ok, you're not afraid to die, so I'm going to send you to fight and die for me, yaddah, yaddah."

Oh, sorry, maybe I should have chosen better words. They are used to tough situations, and know that they go in where other people can't do it. Even with more training and experience, it is, shall we say, difficult jobs that they do, with a higher chance of being KIA

-Osama Escaped...at least once
-Had an affair with a hippo
-Signed dozens of bills which would come due after his term
-Pardoned dozens of criminals in his final hours
-Called "the first black President" ...*
-Failed to act when the USS Cole was bombed
-Failure to act when the World Trade Center was bombed in '93 (Found 6 people, tried and convicted them, case closed)
-Failure in Somolia to "punish those responsible" for those who killed an American and dragged thru the streets...in fact, pulled out 6 days later
-In '98 al-Qaeda attacks U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania. President Clinton promises to hunt and punish those responsible. Two weeks later he chooses an aspirin factory in Sudan to launch cruise missiles against, and then thinks 'its all good'
-August, 2002, NewsMax.com releases audio of Frmr President Clinton admitting he had the chance to take Osama bin Laden into custody, but he nixed the idea because he couldn't come up with a legal justification

Under Bush:
-The worst terrorist attack in the Nation's History occured. Bush reacted far Better than Clinton ever would by beginning a systamatic war on terrorist-harboring countries.
*-Bush actually increased spending to help poor people, moreso than Clinton ever did, thus making him more of a "black President" than Clinton
-Bush Invades Iraq to liberate people from Saddam's rule, under the possibility of him having WMD's, and to enforce UN resolutions which ordered an immediate surrender of Saddam.
-The border situation continues to get worse

Any way you want to put it, Clinton F'd up badly in the area of homeland security. He did very little to ever retaliate against the terrorists who attacked us when he had the chance. He had a direct chance to blow Osama to hell and back and he lost it. And that mistake may have cost 3,000 lives.

Again, I ask you to ask someone who has been a CT during both administrations. Clinton did more than Bush, but he did it quietly. So the USS Cole was bombed (I was annoyed by that one). The WTC was bombed in '93, a few days after Clinton had been sworn in. What else happened to us?

I'm a Conservative, but Bush has been pissing me off for the last couple of years. I thought Clinton was a great speaker, but I disagreed with him most of the time.

None of them have really been great presidents. All of them have had their faults as well as strengths. But honestly, I think the last two have sucked. I could go into detail, but I'm not in the mood to go dig up all the dirt on everybody.

There hasn't been a president I've really liked since Reagan. And before that, (though it was before my time) I don't think I like any of them until you get to Kennedy.

I do think It's funny though how most Conservatives here will defend everything Bush does, and most Liberals do the same with Clinton. Blind devotion will just keep you in the dark. Hard as it sometimes can be with all the biased media often being our sole source of info, try to be truly objective.

Im sure Clinton is not the first Politician to ever get a blowjob in office, hes just the first one to get caught.

The US did not take Osama at the time he was offered to the US because he was not on the wanted list. He was on a watch list to keep and eye on him but he was not wanted at that time.

Why should Clinton have done anything about Saddam? Clinton was following diplomatic channels and letting the UN inspectors do their job.
