Re: Who was the better american president: Clinton or Bush?
Yeah, I won't even try to argue for him on that. At least he has gotten better, relativly speaking, over the past couple of years.
But it is not as though the Democrats don't have their slips of tounge. Charles Schumer commented during the Robert's confermation hearing that liked movies with good cinemafatogophy. Apparently, a close cousin of cinematography...
But this isn't nearly as disturbing as the question Senator Schumer asked Roberts. "What kind of movies do you like?"

Maybe he has finally cracked open one of the English books he forgot about at Yale. And don't forget about Dan Quayle and his "potatoe" mishap. Talk about killing your political career...
Hell, Al Gore invented the internet! Who would have known?

Its not that he had an affiar its that he lied under Oath. The President is not exempt from the laws the govern the people.
Fact is that the lives of 3,000 Americans were lost when Clinton failed to seize oppertunity and act on Osama. He had multiple chances. He blew it. He raised taxes.
Bush has given more money and done more for poor people than Clinton ever did.

Bush did better at Yale than Kerry did. Kerry actually had a handful of "D"s. Looser...

Clinton gave many orders and instructions to capture Osama Bin Laden and CIA hunted Osama, not to mention that many cruise missiles were launched against terrorist targets in Afghanistan and Sudan, though with poor results (like that medicine facility in Sudan). Besides, we have to remember that Bush administration had over 7 months time to counter any terrorist thread before 9/11 happened and it didn't much listen the advices & warnings of former Clinton administration about possible terrorist thread. All in all, it's quite foolish to entirely blame Clinton & his administration about 9/11 incident.
Furthermore, it's not entirely Clinton and his administration's fault that Osama wasn't captured, but the CIA and the forces of Northern Alliance in Afghanistan had their part too.

And the point is? Raising taxes isn't always negative thing as a lot of good can be achieved with more money.
