Using your common sense if praticing abstiance. It does not take a genius to figure out abistance=%100 effective. |
Re: Sex before marriage Crabs comes from contact with pubic hairs dude, when your smacking yourself up against your partners body you contact eachothers pubes. It is just the way it is. We don't WANT TO PRACTICE ABSTINENCE! Dude, have you been listening? I encourage safe sex, even though I don't practice it, but I don't encourage abstinence because abstinence is a failure in this country. I don't know if it is just our generation, but more and more kids are having sex nowadays. |

That is afaik the only deadly sexually transferred disease that exists, and condoms work really well to minimize the risk of infection if properly used. |

Re: Sex before marriage For a long time I said I wouldn't have sex until after I got married but not long after, I was 14, I lost my virginity to an older guy. Sex is great! Everyone should try and get as much as they can! My sis hates 2 think of me with boys but she's a overprotective person. Aren't all big sisters? lol Ppl who say there r gonna wait r daft. lol xx Clare |

And don't say AIDS. Its HIV that's the virus, AIDS is merely the effects of having no immune system. |

Re: Sex before marriage But you aren't placing yourself at a large risk if you protect yourself. Pete, your logic fails in this thread. |
Re: Sex before marriage Quote:
People get hurt when they play, that's one of the things that happens, always has, possibly always will. whether emotionally or physically humans play very rough. All the best things we do incur an element of risk, we drive in fast cars and floor it just once in our lives on a clear stretch of road to feel the thrill that goes with it, we go places and do things that are completely irrationally dangerous, like flooring our cars to 180 Mph, or rappelling down the side of a cliff, or making love. We do these things in part because they have that element of risk in them, we try to limit it, by wearing our seatbelt, using the proper safety equipment, sticking a condom on. But that element of risk it must be admitted adds something, it reminds us we're alive. Without that element of risk you may as well be dead, you walk in the world and what is there for you that truly reminds you of your own mortality, that makes everything so much more raw and real; the reminder that you may be dead the next day the next second, where is that for you? Sure you know intellectually that you can't last for ever but you're never forced to acknowledge it as something other than a fact. You've got to live with risks, you've got to get out there and floor your car on a nice open stretch of road at least once, you've got to go down the side of a cliff with just a weedy rope to catch you, so that you feel alive, so that the world is that much more raw and immediate. You might cut yourself on the edges, you might break an arm, or contract an STD. Hell, bottom line you might even die, that's an ever-present risk; but if you never take the risks, never enjoy the things associated with them, then chances are you've forgotten what it's like to be truly alive anyway. We do these things not because they are safe but because they are dangerous, it's a part of being human, a part of being alive. Why take the risk? So that we can live, we need it as surely as oxygen or water, maybe even more. |

honestly... you will only get hurt emotionaly.... or you will be setting your self up for a large conflict with your self... i know this one girle who like most of you here enjoys sex. she slept with her boyfriend. well i know the guy and some of the shit he says about her when she's not looking is slightly amazing to me... he calls her a whore and a slut. and thats suppost to be her boyfriend? well later she found out about the hurtful things the guy was saying to her. she left him and went on to someone else... the whole thing repeated again... and then she went on to one more guy... and again it repeated.... she found her self so depressed as guys were only using her for one thing only... sex. women i will let you all know somthing... there are men out there that are willing to take advantage of you. i havnt because im not like that... and though you may be thinking your man would never use you in such a way and soly for one thing... you have to ask your self... how well do you know that guy you are sleeping with? what does your mate realy think of you? this is the cold hard trueth to it all... most of the guys in there teans will use women in that way... not all men are like that but majority are. to finish up my story about my friend and her emotional problem... well she never had gotten over it... she almost commited suicide but was stoped... i dont know were she is now but with all that she went threw being used like that... im almost not surprised she was so depresed... plzz think before you let your urges get the better of you... even if your having safe sex what ever you are taking or you got your man wearing wont protect you at all if he is just using you... i had not had sex mostly because.... we have an std problem at out school... O_O eww... |
Re: Sex before marriage i aint reading all of this thread..........but I dont plan on having sex until im married, its getting tougher, now that im in college, and there is a lot more temptations than back in high school |
Re: Sex before marriage It is fine if you want to wait, just don't get on a moral high horse or tell us we are in danger when we really aren't in too much danger. Human beings are different. And to me, marriage is just a legal contract that doesn't mean much to me at this point in my life. I am going to enjoy my teen years, drinking alcohol, having sex with all the hotties I can, getting some boobies, etc. It is what I want. I would not live any other way, and I am happy. |
Re: Sex before marriage its a free world, you have free will.....although i disagree with the way your living your life, im not going to cram my conservative Chrisitan values down your throat for it |
Re: Sex before marriage I don't believe in Sex After marrage, some people don't get married till they are 40+ or even older, but i don't think it should happen like it does. Some people seem to think of it as a joke now a-days, 16 (for the legal age) is there for a reason, i think it is resonable. Don't think you should have to wait until after marrage, but i do think a certian amount of months. This is just me, but i say three months (about that time you get the idea on if the relationship is going anywhere or not). Edit: The people that are waiting for it (wheater just waiting for the right person, or waiting till marrage, good on you) - don't let people put you down over it. |
