What to do when someone likes you and u dont like them back

What is a person to do when someone likes you but you dont like them back?

I have been told by a friend that another longtime friend likes me. But problem is I dont like her back. She doesnt know that I kno that she likes me. If she approaches me, how am I to tell her that I dont like her back?

If she asks you out, just tell her you'd like to stay friends because you are different types or you dont really think it would work out, you dont really have to tell her directly you dont like her.

And if she keeps approaching you, hell, why not give it a try? you might change your mind later and it might work out.

A.) Say you have a girlfriend, if she asks who, make up a name, and say shes from another school (say a local schools name), if any she follows up with more questions, just BS.

B.) Say you are not looking for a relationship, you're still getting over your last one, or you just want to have some fun while being single. (this has worked several times for me, they always seem to understand.)

Pretty much tell them you just want to be single, and that its not just because of them, maybe say that you dont want to go out with ANYONE at the moment. You can even bs and say that you think they are cute or something. (But if then the next day some really hot chick asks you out... your fucked.)

C.) Tell them you dont like them directly. (depends on the situation, but usually this doesnt work too well, makes you look like an asshole, and then both of you feel bad.)

So i'm guessing you dont like her physically? Because of her looks? Since you said shes one of your best friends i'm assuming you like her personality etc.

Or why?

GOD! Don't be a wussy about it!

If she asks you out on a date, just tell her flat out that you don't want to. If she has a problem with that, then she's obviously only your friend because she wants to date you.

That, or you can screw her and dump her, like everyone else.

In all seriousness, don't pussy foot around it, just tell her flat out, and don't make her feel uncomfortable about it. Just give the simple answer of, "no." If she wants you to explain why, so be it... but if she doesn't want you to, don't bother. Keep it short and sweet and then things can go back to normal.
