From reading the posts here I have come to a n00bish conlusion:

Girls: want to keep their virginity as long as posible
Guys: think it is a bug and get rid of it as fast as possible:p

meh I'm too much of a looser to get a GF, I need money and lots of it:p

Re: virginity

I agree Kerian. Relationship shouldn't be based just on sex. I'd considered it more a treat or you showing your lover how you feel physically. Oh I was having a chat with a close friend and she said a girl can lose her virginity by not touching a guy even!! I was surprised, she explained by saying if you finger yourself enough to break an egg, you'll somehow lose your virginity?? But I really doubt it!!

Not really, it could be just the opposite but you just have to find out.
Sex is very important in relationships, grown up relationships, not teenaged.

Guys, do you remember your first one, how many of you can say that was a blast. Not many I bet. With anything in life practice makes perfect, and it takes practice to please a woman, because any man can just have "sex"
Women also need to please their men, not just be in the same room ;)

Be safe have fun and practice practice practice :)

Not necessarily. I know a guy who I believe is 20 or older, but even in his late teens he and his girlfriend had sex multiple times per week.

Agreed. Im not religious, but something as personal as sex should be with someone who means something to you, not someone ugly-turned-hot-after-50-beers girl on the corner.

What I meant was sex is not an important role in a teenaged relationship as it is in an adult one.

It depends on what you consider virginity. If you consider taking of virginity the breaking of the hymen, that most definitely can be done by oneself, with fingers or other objects.

In this case, the question is whether you've engaged in sexual intercourse with one or more members of the opposite gender up until the point of orgasm.

Orgasm? having an orgasm has nothing to do with virginity.

Technically yes. Anal and oral sex both can transmit STDs, therefore you aren't a virgin.

LOL,
You mean YOU think it should be special.
Sex is sex, doesn't mean you have to be in love with your partner.
Making love to your partner is a whole different story ;)
You are young, you will see ;)

Quote:

100% wrong.
ONLY way to lose virginity for a woman is to be penetrated by a penis (only in her V). Thats it, no other way.
Vise versa for a man.

Just to touch on the "special my first time part"
You guys do know your first time will last no longer than 5 min, right? How can that be special to HER ;) Most are tough as it is ;)
A woman will almost 99% not have an orgasm her first time, and also her first time will most likely not be a good experience. pain ect.
For the guy, he is in joy for his few min and thinks he is king of the world :)

Ok I'm getting to deep for this place ;)
Good luck to all who are waiting, it's nothing to be ashamed of.

Time for STD education soon, and possibly general sex ed. :p

Some of these poor kids have obviously been misled.

STDS: Can come from intercourse, anal, and blowjobs.

Virginty: Can only be taken by normal intercourse (I say normal as in, not anal, not in the definition of doggy style not being normal...)

The way i see it ,intercourse is prefectly ok before marriage, as long as both partners are completely trusting of each other, and know that the other is completely clean. Its also something id reccomend for people in love....none fo this "casual" shit thats so hot nowadays....but i mean....if u wanna be a good sexual partner during marriage....why not get some practice.....

It's no longer the gay community, that ended in the 80's. Looking at the earth as a whole, you can no longer say that AIDS is a problem of the homosexual community. Statistically speaking, the majority of AIDS victims are heterosexual.

And i believe one looses his or her virginity when he or she has sex with anyone, no matter the gender. Since it makes no sense as 100% gay people would be virgins acording to your defenition.

Are you serious!!!!! Jesus christ you guys don't no crap

Oral and Anal sex DO transmit STD's, infact the most common way of being infected with HIV is Anal sex. In any situation where sexual fluids or organs are invloved ANY type of STD can be transferred.

what the fuck did they teach you in school!!!!!

You can get a STD anywhere a guy can stick his penis. You can get a form of oral herpes, alot of STD's are transmitted in the gay communiity due to unprotected anal sex.

So its not just penis in vagina sex, it can be oral and anal as well.

Re: virginity

I'm a virgin as well - and I don't give a crap. :) But seriously, my relationships have not worked out well. I'll admit it - and it wasn't altogether my fault, but it was, like it usually is, 50% my fault. I got over that in a day because I felt more free because I knew she wasn't the one for me. She was kind of - actually - really immature about everything, making impulsive decisions about everything. I just like to have a normal day and have a routine - some people don't like that I suppose. The only time I don't have a routine is when I'm on vacation, which I am now. But besides that part of the relationship, I just wanted to be free again and I knew she wasn't the one for me so I was just wasting her time and my own time. I broke it off by not calling her back - kinda rude but I didn't know what to do. She was fine physically, but I wasn't ready for any kind of commitment in that department of life, as I just didn't, like I said, think she was for me in other ways. I remained a virgin throughout that relationship and plan to until the right time - I just have found in my experiences that giving in to something just for one night may not be worth it - kind of like coming home from school and playing games without studying for school the next day (when I was in school). Fortunately for me, my priorities were right and getting my college degree meant more because I know that if I started a family off the bat then what kind of provider would I be - not as good a one as I would want. If I'm gonna do something, I want it done right, even if it takes years. Doesn't matter - as long as I do what I know is right - not what feels right.

I am actually in a new relationship now with a girl from where I work - we've been going out for two weeks. We talk on the phone every night, but I want to see where that leads before I make any split-second decisions. I don't want to be the 'fu** 'em then leave 'em type. Love comes first - if we're on the same wavelength as far as the important things go and we appreciate each others' company all the time and we're honest with ourselves and each other, then it will work out. 90% of the time it won't happen that way. But for those of you who have had bad relationships - don't worry about it. If you are truthful with yourself and with others, and have care, then a good relationship is bound to come. Of course, I hope the new relationship goes very well because she is the finest girl I've known in recent times. ;)

Also, to clear up the current discussion:
1) Yes, STD's can come from a blowjob, anal sex, and all the things mentioned.
2) Yes, virginity means that someone has not had 'normal' male-female sex involving the penis and vagina, which qualifies as 'losing one's virginity.'
