Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Go bush I'm so glad that we have a compatent man in office for 4 more:clap: All kerry did was bush bash he had no issues to contend. GO BUSH!!!!!!!!:bows: |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread So have you voted on which country to invade next yet? |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread My money's on Iran. |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Once Bush is in office, anything and everything you say about him won't matter to the republicans on this forum. Because not only do we not have to defend him, we could care less what stupid mistakes he made because he got eight years! So while you sit and bitch about his policies for the next four years, expecting a rise out of the right wing, we will be laughing in our chairs because "we" won. Again. |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread I wasn't trying to get 'a rise' out of you (sounded a bit weird...), I was being serious. You're flattering yourself if you think our entire lives revolve around 'trying to get a rise out of Republicans'. I think you'll find that now that the elections are over (erm... premature, aren't we?), nobody will be arguing with you so much because there's no point in bothering. It's only his foreign policy which matters to us, he can screw up your country as much as he wants for all we care. It's just the fact that you've just voted for another war that bothers us. |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Quote:
Hey I would be pissed if I wasted my vote on thats douche bag kerry. VIVA-BUSH! |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Quote:
Personally, I hope he takes out North Korea myself. |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Well you would, you're hoping for humanity to be destroyed. |

Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread WTF? He hasn't won a prize X-C, and this isn't a clan match! This decision by the American people is going to have very real consequences, not only for America, but for the rest of the world. Trust me, I dare say that if the US president's decisions had absoultely no effects outside of America's borders then the rest of the world might not care so much, or at all. However, US foreign policy and its policies towards climate change and pollution have major (possibly dire) consequences for the World as a whole. If he picks a needless fight against the wrong people then I hope you will still be laughing when the consequences become abundantly clear. EDIT: Wow, Mr. Matt... You've typed 3 messages in the space it took me to type one pretty much saying the same thing as you! :D |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread I care so much because Kerry was planning on raising taxes substantially for everyone. He cannot do so. Bush will be raising taxes, but not as high as Kerry would have. Either way, Kerry and Bush will have both screwed over some more stuff in the world. It isn't like Kerry is a saint just because he isn't Bush. |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Quote:
You're right that neither candidate is perfect and it's a case of the lesser of two evils. It seems (so far) that the majority of the American voters see that as Bush, but the rest of the world sees it as otherwise. |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Kerry is a liar. It is impossible to complete the programs he was suggesting without taxing every American in America. So either he is lying about these "purdy" programs, or he is lying about raising taxes, which he voted to do so 98 times. Democrats have a history of raising taxes. |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Quote:
accoirding to CNN and NOS (nr. 1 dutch news program/org): Bush: 254 Kerry: 252 Bush is almost certain to win but not with the number you "objective" fox channel says. Quote:
Lets talk again when the US lays in ruins and europe is stronger then ever before. |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Fox news does not have those numbers. They have the same as every other station. Doesn't matter though, they should just make Kerry 0 and Bush 1,000,000 because Kerry cannot win. It is impossible. |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Quote:
damn, americans like you DEFINATELY need a war on your very ground instead of just sending your troops wherever you look good and polished. you never experienced that before, did you? sorry for getting so low and offensive, but after reading such posts, it's gotta be very difficult to resist for every half-wise educated person here. -rai P.S.: Quote:

Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Quote:
The US is in countless ways the most influencal country in the world and should represent as such. Bush has weakend the US position as a superpower with his foreign policy. |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread :agreed Indeed. That's probably why many in the Global Community find the current US administration so frustrating... As the only remaining Superpower, it has the potential to do so much good and affect so much change, but only seems to look inward and serve itself... Still, we may be veering off-topic here! :D |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread 4 more years... the chimp can screw over your country all he wants for all I (and most people over here in europe) care, as long as he doesn't bother us with his foreign policies. also, will you people stop calling us liberals? just because we think bush is bad, we are not liberals. we're left wing, and left wing is not liberal here. (liberal is right wing here.) |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Glad to see it looks like Bush is going to win :) |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Lol, they are both loser: Bush has 254, Kerry 252... One of them needs 270 :) |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Looks as though he'll get Ohio. |

Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread http://images.capwiz.com/img/photos/...g?size=147x105 George W. Bush re-elected to another four years in the White House. Kerry could possibly, maybe, slightly, no, no, it's over, Bush Wins. |

Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread It's starting to sound like it's all over now... Associated Press says that Kerry has called Bush to concede, and also ABC News is repoting that Kerry will publicly concede at around 18:00gmt. |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Right here we go... According to both Sky News, ITV News, BBC News 24 and C4 News, John Kerry has phoned George Bush to concede the election. This comes after reports that George Bush has won Ohio by a majority of around 140 000 votes. 250 000 Provisional votes were also taken and havn't been added (Provisional Votes are the votes that the state found to be slightly suspicious - they may have came from an Unregistered voter or similar) yet, but it is mathematically pretty impossible for John Kerry to win with that. Whoever wins Ohio wins the election, bare in mind. As it stands, if John Kerry does not admit defeat and wants the provisional votes counted, he would need at least 240 000 votes for him from the 250 000 provisional votes taken. Vurtually impossible considering this is a swing state. |

Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread YAY Bush won. Now all we need is to get rid of Blair and the world will be a better place :D |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Can you say 'We're all going to hell in a hand basket'? =P |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread have i lost my non-american friends? oh well, kerry tried. im happy for bush. but i also feel an america aginst Sudan, Iran and Syria coming up :(. i hope our 'intellegence' dosent mess up this time. and kerry might run in '08. he is oging to lose, he was just lucky to be aginst bush. i hope Al Gore or Howard Dean runs. but they were so close 52% bush 49% kerry, shows that bush wasnt really loved, or else he would have gotten a bigger percentage. |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Google said: "und wenn uns nichts mehr bleibt, als um erlösung zu beten: dann lasst sie uns preisen- die klügsten männer auf unserem planeten...." means this: "and if nothing more remains for us to pray than around release: then leave it to us praising the most intelligent men on our planet...." Is this right because it makes little seens without the rest of the quote. |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Yeah! Bush won! We're saved fro that demon kerry! |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread I will never understand america. |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread Well this race wasnt close at all BUSH: 274 Kerry: 242 :0wned: I have to say somthing nice about Kerry here, The mans a pres canidate and though he said meny untrue thing about Bush, He still had enogh good inside him to call Bush up and give him the congrates. Oha nd the libral Democrats that post on this fourm, HA HA YOU ACTULLY THOUGH THAT FOOL WAS GONNA WIN! LOL now its--- Time to party    |
Re: The 2004 Election Update Thread I guess that the advantage of being pessimistic: no surprises... Bah, either way, the US would've gotten a bad president, but still: "De duobus malis, minor est semper elegendum.", right? |
