Same here. Only not Swedish movies :D. :Puzzled:. I suppose I should specify that they're British, for all the idiots out there :p.

Here is a small test:
If you find this funny you love british humor, if not you probably are insane.. i mean you probably prefer american humor:

The black knight scene (2570 KB)
God (1078 KB)

Too bad that they don't have a movieclip of the guard at the bridge ("answer three qeustions correctly and you may pass") :(. I love Monthy Python and it is a typical example of british humor.

Re: American humor ain't funny!

why? british humor is far better then american humor. I found those movie clips yesterday and decided that it would be a nice controbution to this thread, it wasn't death yet. (everthing older then 1 week or on page 2 is...)

Re: American humor ain't funny!

Dude, that was just retarded. How can you guys find that shit funny?

Here is the differance between American humor and British humor. American humor is more casual. British humor is wacky, and not so casual. Almost all the British humor I see has something wacky going on, while American humor is more laid back. But I think Americans have to win when it comes to sense of humor. That was just stupid.

Ok, since this doesn't want to die.

Donitz, do you ever watch American standup comedy?

Re: American humor ain't funny!

Of course the american humor isnt funny, except a few shows such as Simpsons, Ren and Stimpy, Saturday Night Live etc. British humor is one of the best and smartest humors around... such as Monty Python the flying circus... Sometimes Japanese like The most extreme elimination challenge (That show is sweet as fuck) ... I always say that the American society is scary, threatening, and just plain fucking retarded. I could say that im an anti-american but i like living here, but i would rather live in south america or france or anywhere but North America :-D

Re: American humor ain't funny!

Smartest humors around? Monty Python is retarded. Bunch of guys hitting eachother constantly. Ever seen the Chapelle show? That is a good example of what Americans find funny.

European society is no better then American society. You guys got higher murder rates then we do, and larger rape rates if you divide the populations of European countries into America.

I don't know any other link to a good english show that you can watch online/dowload (legally).
If you can post a better example of british humor then do so by posting a link.

Re: American humor ain't funny!

You used America's Funniest Home Videos in your example in the beginning of this thread. I'm American and that show drives me crazy. I don't know anybody that finds that host funny. His 'jokes' are stupid. I'm not sure why the people there laugh, maybe they are told to. Or maybe they just came from a lobotomy.

I like British humor, (Benny Hill, Mr. Bean) although sometimes I find that, in some of the later Monty Python sketches at least, it drags on and on. It tends to be funny for the first 3 or 4 minutes of each sketch, but then it becomes random. Although a lot of the sketches are very random and inexplicably funny. (Has anyone ever seen 'the larch' sketch?)

Is that why the British version of Who's Line is It Anyway was cancelled?
