Eventually with sufficient advancement the Internet might become a way to initiate true democratic communism (I think that what its called anyway.) By giving everyone a fair vote.

As for the internet being used for bad things at least its out where people can see it , better the evil you know

Not sure I agree with the communism part, but you're right, it could certainly be used for fair democracy the world-over. Heck, with younger generations chatting casually to people from every country under the sun, so-called enemies or not, the internet could bring global world peace faster than ever imagined. How can you declare an entire country evil when you've made friends with some of them over the net? I reckon that'll be significant in the new, internet-bred generation of politicians.
And it's certainly an easy-to-use outlet for free-speech.
I guess you're right. Every new technology, law, service etc is abused by a minority (though in the case of the Internet, it's a worryingly large minority). The net has a lot of unrealised potential, in the long-term, that should be left to fester and grow. Tis more than just a global porn network and a new place for commercials!

well, it depends, i have been playing video games for 13 years, i have fast reflectses, i can aim guns amazingly well, and i can usually learn a game on any console without knowin what the buttons do, within 15 minutes, im playing it with no problems.

but it really depends on what game and how long i have played it.

ive found, that i can learn anything electronic fairly fast... which is a benefit.

man.... i need a life... oh wait, i have one ;)

Strategy games are very useful. Apart from getting lots of practise with the mouse (something I doubt anyone here would have problems with in the first place, lol), you learn to think on a larger level. And you have a much better understanding of what's being talked about when the news discusses military strategies employed in a certain war... you've actually done it :smokin:
