I must say that you are a very skilled renderer and material-creator. You have made a very realistic laptop without overdoing the unrealistic, thus making it look perfect.

I am very fond of the Red alpha room aswell, although I dislike the lighting. It feels like it hasnt got a personality and that is very bland. Try giving a bit more concentrated light sources and a slight darkness over the room.

Something that wouldnt hurt either would be things such as cords and big generators with details that gives this feeling of that the room is really a control roomish room thats kinda messy.

The Kelt Knight.. I have simply no words for it.. amazing.

Thanks. That was why I came back to college and to grad school. I was not that good at that stuff and have come a long way I think. Thanks

Unless I'm mistaken you come from the SI forums correct? I remember the child knight render there.

Anyways loving the notebook scene.
While I've heard of Zbrush, I can't say I know much about mudbox. What's it like (also what does it focus on in general :P)?

As to massive differences between old xp and vista x64. Definitely agree on that. The way x64 PS, lightwave and terragen act is beautiful
- admittedly my 3d works ends at around - oh cool I made a box!
Yes I am on the SI site. I am also Kelt Knight on there as well. I am also a MOD there as well. I have used ZBrush but not MudBox yet. I have it but never used it. I am testing MudBox out but do not know it very well yet.

Here is and update of my work.

Spoiler:
Here is my latest project. O ya the HDD is not real by the way..... I am working on the lighting and shading on the inside now. I used the Maya projection texturing to do this...wow is it cool.

That thing, hard drive I believe, is almost photo-realistic. You have my begrudging admiration.

When you rendered that laptop in all white, what was your lighting setup like? I'm trying to learn to light my scenes in Maya, it's a bit of a challenge for me.

I love the city.. its like its something from Pixar.. this epicness must have epic textures and you can probably work at a huge movie animation centre.
