The "rails under the rails" are not rails, they are just decoration on the frame that hold the barrel in place.

I use Maya 2009 unlimited modeling software.

I whipped up a quick pistol model, the Pfeifer Zeliska .600, for a forum member on another site, atikabubu.






More pics later when I pimp out the revolver proper with reflex scope, silencer and a flashlight.

Very nice. Looks quite good for something that was quickly whipped up.

Hey, maybe you can model some Star Trek weapons. Phaser, for example. It's just a suggestion, ofcourse.
