It was a pain to get the logo and the lightning right. I had to put a glare in the top right corner, or the logo would simply look bland and boring. I might go back and work on the 'aura' around the soldier, I'm not quite satisfied with it.

the sig is good, just some final touches, like the bland as you said

but now .. the avatar..
if there's one thing people can kill you for, it is using vertical text. it is bad, as having knowledge of commercial affiches, I can tell that designers hate that, one should realy avoid it.

I thought as much, which was why I created one without it.

As for the sig, I made some changes o this version. First of all, the logo layer was duplicated and put to "Darken Only" to make it blend properly. The aura was changed from the "Normal" mode to "Overlay", and I dropped an extra overlay to make the trooper blend properly with the colors.
