Re: End Of San Andreas

did you use cheats and save it? cos ive heard (and ive got mates whove ps2s have broken cos of it) that it will wreck your saves, your ps2 etc

Admiral Fareway November 17th, 2004 12:14 PM

Re: End Of San Andreas

it cant wreck the PS2 itself

Kadaj November 17th, 2004 01:37 PM

Re: End Of San Andreas

at least 3 ppl i know have had there ps2 break, aka unusable, aka BROKE

AzH November 17th, 2004 01:39 PM

Re: End Of San Andreas

from using a cheat? that's doubtful.

Re: End Of San Andreas

a few ppl seem to be having game errors with sa... strange really,

try without the card in the port if it doesnt work its probably the disc or console,

(some one is soooo close to stealing my name...)

Re: End Of San Andreas

unbelieveable yes, but true, it happened with vc aswell

AzH November 17th, 2004 01:53 PM

Re: End Of San Andreas

there is no way that a PS2 could be physically damaged from inputting a cheat code. do you have anything to back up your claims? i'll happily stand corrected if you have something over than hearsay.

Re: End Of San Andreas

it could be if that code activated somthing that wiped the inbuilt software in the ps2... like the menu system and sys settings stuff but i doubt rockstar put anything like that in,

Kadaj November 18th, 2004 09:46 AM

Re: End Of San Andreas

i cant prove anything, i guess it does sound pretty unbelievable and i cant blame you for doubting me:rolleyes: it still happened though :p

i thought youm were me when i glanced over your name...also wat u mean when u say try it with out the m,em card in the port?

Kadaj November 21st, 2004 06:40 AM

Re: End Of San Andreas

whoever said that must have misread because theres no way you can load a game without the memory card in the port

Re: End Of San Andreas

The cheats in VC only make 100% impossible, and lower your criminal rating as low as it can go, they dont mess up your game. trust me, i have a file where I used every cheat, and I can still load it up. I even dropped my PS2 so the tray came out, but it still works perfect, so cheats cant ruin the system, only the game's programming.

Re: End Of San Andreas

this happend to me and i was ready for taking the game back but i had saved it just before the end on another block so i loaded it from there and it worked i finished the game and got on with all the side tasks i needed about two territories and it happend again so i had to use that save just before the end and do all my hard work again now the only way i have found that stops it is to save on two blocks and i dont even use the first block cause thats the one that causes me the problems as u can probably guess this makes me :furious:
