Metroid Prime 3: Worth it or Not? I know this is probably a dumb question, but it's been looming in my mind ever since my friend suggested it to me. I've seen multiple reviews. They all seem ok. Yet I still feel very unsure. :uhm: So let's get to the point. Is this game worth me spending my money on it or not? Because I scared less I get it and have a distaste for it. Any opinion is appreciated. Thanks, msc |
Re: Metroid Prime 3: Worth it or Not? I have played it, and I liked it. However I will like to point out that its not a FPS game like Halo, but then again it does make you think on your feet as it has a element of a puzzle game as well. If you find the game cheaper I would buy it, but I did think this game wasn't as good as the last two games in this series. I think Nintendo are making the last two Metroid again a part of that new contorl play series they are doing, so it may be wroth waiting on those... then again if you after a game to get though this "no new Wii game come soon" then this may be worth buying. |
Re: Metroid Prime 3: Worth it or Not? Rent it first to see how you like it. |
Re: Metroid Prime 3: Worth it or Not? If you expect an Action-Adventure and you are a fan of the old Metroid Prime titles (you really should have played those first, otherwise grab 'em for a few bucks from a shop or wait for the Wii re-release) its 'a definite must-have for you. One of the very VERY few good & serious games available on the Wii. |
Re: Metroid Prime 3: Worth it or Not? Well getting the first two might be virtually impossible now days since gamecube games are almost extinct at most stores. Plus, if it IS one of the few good/none gimicky(a.k.a serious) games out there I'll go ahead and give it a shot. Also I am aware its not like most other FPS games, but it is considered one. Maybe not a TOTAL fps, but still looks like it plays like one. Anyways I guess I'm going to go ahead and give it a whirl. |
