So time to do a thriller move and resurrect this thread. Reason: a new album is coming this year and a new song leaked this week (you know these kind of leaks, the ones where somebody apparently has access to the whole album and then decides to upload one song to the internet, which causes a lot of promotion before the album comes out )
The songs name is "Liebe ist für alle da" ("Love exists for everyone") and while I won't post a link to any material here I'm sure you should be able to acquire it somehow. I will also give a short review of the song.

Before you read it, note that:

1. I'm a fan, but not a fanboy
2. I don't know jack about musical theory or anything (can't even read notes), it's just my overall impression

If you had played that song to me without the lyrics and asked me what band it was from I would probably have said "Metallica or something". The guitar play is much less "clean" and "robotic" than their usual material, but also faster and as far as I'm concerned more complicated. However, it still has this certain "wall of sound" quality that makes Rammstein sound like... well Rammstein. It follows the line of developement after the Mutter album: less electronics and samples, more guitars and singing.
The lyrics are pretty much the Rammstein standard issue of pillaging and rape, but a bit disappointing imo. Nothing new and it lacks the wit, double entendre and self irony of their better efforts. The only thing surprising about it was the inclusion of an actual profanity ("ficken" or "fuck"), which is rather untypical. They may sing about messed up stuff, but usually in a poetic or ironic manner.
Overall a nice song with an interesting change in style, but the lyrics are so-so.

I wonder what the new album will be like, I liked Reise Reise above their Rosenrot Albulm (though the Rosenrot song wasn't bad at all).

Edit: Aye, the song isn't too bad though the songtext is a little disappointing.
