Song you wish would never end So, youve had a long day, maybe its been a completely normal or a bit depressing day, you go to bed that night in a neutral or sorta depreseed mood, you put on your head phones and listen to that song you wished would just never end (or just be alot longer) and you could just dase at your ceiling and fall asleep with it playing id like it if you put why, but thats up to you, list and many or few as you like, but dont make a page out of it mine are: Untitled (by) Interpol -the guitar rythm is very soothing, makes me want to stare up and think, not alot of vocals but they are soft and quite Rosetta Stoned (by) TOOL -the rythm takes me in a trance and just calms me down and puts me to sleep |

If I had a song that would never end it would be: Nine Inch Nails: Just Like You Imagined not to to there and look at my ceiling but just to have a song that would never end...JLUI is such a sweet song and I've fallen in love with it since it's use in the 300 movie trailer...all of its parts and pieces fit perfectly together and take you on some sort of trip of your own where you can imagine something with the song as your soundtrack |
Re: Song you wish would never end I'd say Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin. That song DESERVES to go on forever. |
Re: Song you wish would never end Peter Frampton's Baby I Love Your Way, just plain great song. Though on a cold, dark night, I'll sit back and chill to Leonard Cohen's album Songs of Love and Hate, the general atmosphere of his songs slowly lull me to sleep. And then there are the nights where I pass out listening to some Organized Rhyme, Tom Green's really old rap group, oh my. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2ctc4daiIZU |
Re: Song you wish would never end Epica - Seif al Din 'The Embrace That Smothers, Pt VI' Something about the combintation of the melody of this song and Simone's voice. Maybe it's just the spoken word portion in the middle, but this is one of the few tracks that I can listen to all day and never tire of. |

Re: Song you wish would never end Alternative Polka, by Weird Al. The parodies could be endless! :D But for a serious song, I'd have to go with Spiders by System of a Down. God, I love that song. |
Re: Song you wish would never end That would be 'leaving jesusland' by NoFX for me... |
Re: Song you wish would never end Depressing night? Hmm, I'd go with basically anything by Brand New. Specific song being Soco Amaretto Lime. Yes, I like Brand New. Haha. For a regular night...probably A Speculative Fiction by Propagandhi. And for a pissed off night, either We're Sick of You by The Unseen or Unknown Soldier by The Casualties. |
Re: Song you wish would never end Weird Al albuquerque is a song in which I hope it never ends, the storys crack me up. :p |
Re: Song you wish would never end Alice In Chains' "Rooster" - It would be nice if that guitar solo during "Rooster" was longer (maybe even never end), or if it was repeated later in the song. I often repeatedly play that song on my MP3 player when I'm going to bed and during other times. I love the whole song, but the guitar solo is the best part. Nirvana's "You Know You're Right" - I love that song and wish it was longer (much longer). Maybe it was supposed to be since it was the last song found to be made by Nirvana (not sure of this fact) and never released until now. If they could have added some sort of guitar solo following the beat of the song and then repeat the rest of the song, they could have made the best song ever. Tool's "Parabol" - should be longer before it transitions into "Parabola." A very soothing song. Maybe "Stinkfist" as well (Maybe). I have other songs that are maybes, but the ones above are pretty definite. I'll post any others I can think of later. EDIT: 1 More. Guitar solo during Smashing Pumpkins "Rhinoceros" that occurs between the lines "...See you in June (Guitar Solo) Could have known..." and here "(Guitar Solo) ...Open your eyes..." - I wish those were longer or never-ending. They should at least be in the song more often. |
Re: Song you wish would never end lol NoFX rocks my socks off i love Parabol |
Re: Song you wish would never end Yeah, it's something you can really go to sleep to, until it ends (transition into Parabola), but the end of "Parabola" also has this neat little tune. I wish I could load it up (just that clip, not the whole song), but it may be less than legal (not sure). I often turn the volume up on whatever I'm playing "Parabol" up so I can listen to every little note in the song. |
Re: Song you wish would never end Map of the Problematique by Muse, my favourite song by my favourite band every thing just fits together in it, plus with Matt Bellamys vocals you just have to love it. |
Re: Song you wish would never end call of ktulu - metallica its a perfect instrumental and ending it at 8 mins doesnt do it justice it should go on for ever |
Re: Song you wish would never end White Pearl, Black Oceans by Sonata Arctica. I dunno what it is about that song that I love so much, but I could listen to it forever. |

Re: Song you wish would never end ^ Indeed. Lately I've found myself listening to The Pogues' Dirty Old Town often, a good song. As well, I've been listening to some Pink Floyd more often, and keep putting on Have a Cigar or the Pogues song previously mentioned before I hit the hey. |
Re: Song you wish would never end Incubus - Aqueous Transmission It is the kind of song that just calms you down all the way, very good stuff. |
Re: Song you wish would never end That song by Justin Timberlake....What comes around goes around, comes around, goes all the way back around.... It's like seven mintues long and they play it on the radio in it's entirety on 104 KRBE.... I really could listen to it forever. |
Re: Song you wish would never end Ocean, by Collide could stand to go on forever, also. |
Re: Song you wish would never end Pretty Girl by Nb Ridaz |
Re: Song you wish would never end Fade to Black - Metallica I want it to be played at my funeral. It speaks to me on other levels. I'm not even a Metallica-lover either. |
Re: Song you wish would never end My chemical romance: helena |
Re: Song you wish would never end Soundgarden: Burden in my Hand, helps cool me off a lot, actually. It would be ironic if "The Doors: The End" never ended, wouldn't it? |
Re: Song you wish would never end Fuel - Innocent. It's way too short. |
Re: Song you wish would never end Quote:
if you guys don't want your song to end just use loop =D lol sorry |
Re: Song you wish would never end Intension - TOOL any song made by Minus the Bear i cant realy tell why, but i geuss the reason are the same as my others, the smooth rythm and soft vocals, i could describe Minus the Bears songs as being sorta "cold", dont know why but thats what i think of |

Re: Song you wish would never end Led zeppelin - Stairway to heaven and Metallica - Nothing else matters. I can just listen to those songs for hours and hours and not go crazy. Oh and how could i forget this song:Raffi - Banana Phone |
Re: Song you wish would never end Stairway to heaven =) and please don't mention bananna phone... no more... please! O ya, another nice calm song is mad world, gary jules. Actually, that can get annoying after listening to it for a while... |
Re: Song you wish would never end Muse - Starlight, the verses are dreamy, Map of the Problematique is also really good, something you can just sit back and listen to and feel the vibe. |

Re: Song you wish would never end Dream Theater - A Change of Seasons It's not my favourite song, but if it's going to last forever, it may as well already feel like it does. ;) |
Re: Song you wish would never end Rise against: Prayer of the refugee |
Re: Song you wish would never end "There Is" by Boxcar Racer. It starts off with a snare riff from Travis Barker that carries throughout the whole song. After 8 measures of that, an acoustic guitar comes in, and then the vocals. It's a sad song, but very pleasing to the ear. Later on it gets some timpani during the instrumental bridge. It could do with being longer. |
Re: Song you wish would never end The Beatles - Here Comes The Sun |
Re: Song you wish would never end definitely sign of the cross by maiden 11 minutes long and it still needs to be longer, you can fall asleep to it, even though its metal and maybe flight of icarus because i could just listen to the chorus over and over again |
Re: Song you wish would never end I wont see you tonight by Avenged Sevenfold. That is just one (well, two :P) mean assed song. It's so good, they had to split it into two parts. Its rapidly assaulting my top tracks list. |
Re: Song you wish would never end That would be My Empty Bottle - Korsakoff, No Noctophobia - Korsakoff and As long as the wind blows by The Golden Earring. |
Re: Song you wish would never end AC/DC's T.N.T. I love when they sing "oi" each beat. |
