CCR vs Lynyrd Skynyrd?

Face it. All real men like southern rock, unless they're a homo or a total nerd.

So, which of the great rock bands do you prefer?

Personally, I like Creedance Clearwater Revival more, because even though 'Sweet Home Alabama' is one of the greatest songs ever penned up, 'Fortunate Son,' 'Lodi,' 'Wrote a Song for Everyone,' and 'Down on the Corner' are all nearly as fantastic. In my opinion, Creedance just has more great songs. So, share which of these two great bands is greater, and why.

Lynard Skynard, because i liked the lyrics to "simple man" (i think that was the name of it)

From hearing my dad listen to both bands, I think I much prefer Skynard (even though I don't gravitate toward the classic rock genre).

i hate most southern rock (mostly because it never deals with a specific issue or problem) but ill listen to a little ccr preferably run through the jungle because i like the guitar riffs and the themes of vietnam. i first heard it playing the vietnam mod for BF1942.

Both great bands, but I gotta go with my California brothers, Creedance Clearwater Revival, saw Creedance Clearwater Revisited play and they where awesome and Skynyrd is great nothing beats Free Bird, especially the live version, but CCR has just so much great stuff!
