I spent years in my bedroom -- literally fucking years -- listening to Bonham's drums and trying to emulate his swing or his behind-the-beat swagger or his speed or power. Not just memorizing what he did on those albums but getting myself into a place where I would have the same instinctual direction as he had. I have John Bonham tattoos all over my body -- on my wrists, my arms, my shoulders. I gave myself one when I was fifteen. It's the three circles that were his insignia on Zeppelin IV and on the front of his kick drum.

and that was in a rolling stone magazine and the rolling stone hates Led Zeppelin

and im sorry cambo but pink floyd's drum stuff is fairly easy Pink Floyd is a great band im not denying that but there's just no comparing to Led Zeppelin

and John Bonham is simply the best when it comes to drumming

I gotta agree on that. His drum solo in london for the disasterpieces concert was awesome, you'd have to watch to understand.

Others on my list of favourite drummers are:

Lars Ulrich from Metaillca
Nicholas Barker from Dimmu Borgir (Puritania is \/\/ikid)
Skinny from Mushroomhead
