rock. basiclly coldplay -> Slipknot and back again. i like it.

jazz is cool too. and most classical music is good.

Edit:

as for what i dont like? rap, hip-hop (still trying to figure out the difference between the two....) pop.

Anything but rap in my book can be classified as music. Bunch of black guys, and in some cases white, with a bunch of [explicit word]s doing erotic dances on their laps is pretty much what you will find in all rapper videos. Add in to the fact that they create "their" beats on computers, lip sing, and have a very low education, you have just created an abomination to the music industry. I don't even call rap music.

Your missing alot of other shit, Like Classical, Jazz, Folk, Reggae, techno, Opera, Polka etc etc, out of the ones you listed......... Rock & Roll, none of that poser Punk, Metal shit

Rap isn't a type of music.. it's what ppl do.

Hip Hop is the music.

Real Hip Hop is based on the beats.. and lyrical ability.

Structure/Flow/Metaphors/Similies/Multies.. and overall a message with the track.

Too many people see wack artists like 50/Eminem and co. and think they are Hip Hop.
