Video card opinions! HELP!!!

Hi. I'm looking for a new video card cause my stock one just isn't cutting it anymore. I want at least 70-80 fps in smoke or something... or an average of 100 fps. I don't have a ton of money either so just give me your SUGGESTIONS (more than 1) and I'll try to find something on craigslist or ebay. Thanks.

Edit: How many fps will a Geforce fx 5200 get me? And are they any good and how much are they new?

What do you want to play exactly. You can do far better than a 5200, not worth it really. Figure out what you are willing to spend and go from there. I just gave a coworker my old 5600 as it's worth next to nothing these days.

It also sounds like you have a older rig (guessing by your 5200 comment) and you wouldn't want to spend much anyway because a good card would be bottlenecked and you would never see it's true potential anyway.

I play Americas Army, Red Orchestra, MoHAA, Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2142, Counter Strike, etc. And I want to play airborne demo but my video card isn't good enough... I really just want a good deal. I want my graphics to be maxed out and have at least 70-80 fps. I basically just want opinions and why that video card is good and stuff... But I NEED TO KNOW THE FPS to. But yeah... Thats it.

The Geforce fx 5200 is ok and will see you right in most of the games you have listed.
On full Graphics I get around the 150 mark for Soldier of Fortune 2 and Medal of Honor War chest.
Battlefield 2 though is a different matter, on its lowest settings i get around the 40 mark and all these are on 1024x768 settings.
A geforce fx 5900 will be cheap and do the job. it has 256mb of mem built in and a quote from wiki

So your saying with the graphics maxed out on all those games I mentioned that video card would be good. How many fps would I get on those games? Which game would I get the lowest fps on? And I'm concerned about Americas Army, how many fps would I get on that with that card?

You would get the lowest fps on BF2 with fx 5200. Like i said i get around 40 on the lowest settings which is playable but you should consider the 5200 as a starting point and aim for the latest model you can afford.
I have a fx 5200 and i am looking to upgrade as the newer games are simply to much for it.
But as i have a agp port and not PCIe then my options are limited.

I mainly play MoHAA and Americas Army... How many fps would I get on those do you think?

Again on a 5200 i get 150 fps on mohaa. I have not played American Army but just for you i will download it tomorrow and test it.

what does "I don't have tons of money" means for you?
50$
60-70$
Around 80$

Well here's some card you might want to take a look. These cards are considered like 'cheap' now but they will do the job for MoH and probably AA too.
