This sniper scope is not working...

I've downloaded a sniper scope, and put it in my Mainta folder, but whenever i go online I never actually get to play with it.

Any ideas?

1. You may have another scope skin in your mainta folder for the same gun.
2. The scope was not made for your game.

did you try out both teams

like is it and axis skin or an allies skin ????

And make sure you don't have the texture compression on, that will probably fix it

yeah true, weapon skins dont work 2 if texture compression is on. But i believe a sniper scope should work..

Yeah... Sniper scope works with texture compression, at least it did for me.

well texture compression works with a .dds file (something like a orignial texture, weapons have those type of files, i cant find any on a sniper scope or a crosshair)
with that i believe it cant be texture compression.
