I get stucked in Spearhead Bastogne under Attack
 

What's happening? When I try to get around and get my orders and reach the medic, the game stops and a scene comes popping up, where someone is dying and I have to restart. I have tried everything. Quicksaved, moved very fast and also very slow, but nothing helps. I'm going out of my mind, because I am stucked and can't get any further. Please help me! Excuse me for any misspelling.

The only thing I can suggest (and yes this will sound stupid) is make sure you are following the direction on your compass. If I remember right you got your orders, then ran to find the medic, and had to bring him back alive, it seemed to take a couple of minutes to find him and there was stuff going on around you. I haven't played Spearhead in a long time, so you'll have to forgive me if any of this sounds or is wrong. Just keep trying. You are bound to get it. If you still have trouble, I'll look through my strategy guide and post the way to go.

I was just going thru the guide, and I think I can help you. The first opening sequences are timed. When the mission starts, it looks like you're facing south. The injured Captain is north-west of you, and the medic is south-east of you. When the enemy starts to attack, jump into a foxhole with the two other soldiers. Don't crouch, stay standing. When the shelling starts to die down, you'll get the objective to find the injured Captain (north-west). You have 30 seconds to find him. He's in a fortified trench with wooden planks. Crawl through it to get to the Captain, but don't hang around waiting for an objective update. From there you have 3 minutes to find the medic (south-east) and 3 minutes to bring him back to the Captain. Plus during all this the enemy will be shelling, so use foxholes when you have to, but run like hell, and pay attention to the compass heading. Remember, the shortest distance between 2 points is a straight line. Hope this helps. Good luck and have fun. :D

Thank you very much. I really could use your help. At last I succeeded. I thought something was wrong - either the game or my computer. How did you know about the 30 sec. and the 3 min.? Anyway I'm so glad I can continue the game, and that I didn't smashed my mouse or screen. Thank you!

I bought a strategy guide for the game, and in it they say you have a time limit. I don't remember, guess I have to play it again. Glad I could help.
