warrior, are you talking avatars on here or avatars above the players heads in mohaa ?
in mohaa-
just about anysize you'd want . save as .tga
here -
if uploading 120X120 or 82.7kb
if hotlinking (ie. url offsite) 120X120, place in box provided

Hmm... How can I make those? I don't believe .tga files support animation. So I would change the .shaders to use allies.gif and axis.gif instead of .tga files?

Re: Avatars

you'll keep your textures for any mohaa animation as .jpg or .tga; however (as you'll see in the .shader for a basic animation) you'll have multiple images to make the 'animation' (ie. flipbook)...

ie.
simple_flame
{
nopicmip
nomipmaps
spritegen parallel_upright
cull none
{
// animmap 10 textures/effects/aFlame_01.tga textures/effects/aFlame_02.tga textures/effects/aFlame_03.tga textures/effects/aFlame_04.tga textures/effects/aFlame_05.tga textures/effects/aFlame_06.tga textures/effects/aFlame_07.tga textures/effects/aFlame_08.tga textures/effects/aFlame_03.tga
blendfunc add
}
}
