Ive been creating a map more mohaa, and when im done using mbuilder and done creating the map once it loads and i start playing it has no sound and in consol is says ERROR cannot something something something. does anyone know how i can fix this?

do us a favor and list the error given in your consolen( press ~ ) word for word; something something something has a million different meanings. also what folder are you placing the .bsp file in after you compile and wish to test ? is it a single player map or mp map ?

mp maps go in mohaa/main/maps/dm

from the sound (horrible pun) of your problem, i'm betting you made a single player map.

sorry didnt have time,

it says error playsound: snd_step_stone needs and alias in ubersound.scror uberdialog.scr please fix.

it will say something similair to that for gun shots and everything else that goes on.

for some reason it saves here MOHAA\main\Maps, and im building it as a deathmatch map in mbuilder.

if you want, change your map source directory to desktop or somewhere close (i keep my .map, .bak, screenshots all on my desktop and have mbuildier compile to my desktop) if it's an mp deathmatch like you stated, put it in

mohaa/main/maps/dm

and see if the ubersound.scr kicks in then. if you get errors again, post the message.
