.dds files only contain the skin of the weapon when texture compression is on.

GoA_Shizz, don't you think you should do something a little more original than Operation Desert Storm?? It just seems very repetitive between Modern Warfare and City Nights. If you wanted to stick to this genre you might want to come out with some new guns most people haven't heard of...I don't know that's just my opinion.

I Agree Thats Been My Poit Since The Begining. Thats why i put the URL www.securityarms.com so people canm go down the list and build/ make some ideas for brand new guns.

I personally think it would be cool if somebody modded the SVT40(4 the russians) as a semi automatic rifle and replaced the shotgun or something with it seeing as the Russians used it as a standard infantry rifle(somewhat but the untrained troops sometimes struggled to use it. Also the Germans used the Gewehr 43 as an infantry rifle also. It wasn't restricted to sniping and it wouls make rifle battles between US and Germans a little more even matched. And I know there are already FG42 mods but I'd like to see a really good one with custom animations. Just ideas I thought I would throw out there....

And for beachhead: I think there are some mods like that are done before, try looking on mohfiles.com.

I have Spearhead buddy and I know those weapons are in the game I just thought it would be cool if someone removed the scopes and made them like a regular rifle. And sorry I never thought to look for them.... my mistake I just never saw them before in the new mods section.

My opinion about those weapons:
1. the XM8 sucks, it looks like a Plastic Toy for children.
2. The M14 is done allready, look on mohfiles.com for it.
3. Johnson... hmmm... It's not bad....

I've been trying to do the Sterling. But the problem is that I cant find any good pictures of the gun. Actually I need a picture of the top and of the sides.

the sterling is pretty much the same as the sten only it's the advanced version
the clip is side loaded and .. errr stuff... i gotta get more pictures of it

did you try securityarms.com Snake? I mean they got photos for 97% of the guns out in the world. But What I saw for the sterling there were no top/ bottom view pitures. Anyways My Idea Is That Of course you have it replace the sten (No Duh!!) for PA Just Have it become a replacement for the smg that looks like it in the Directors Edition. Also What Happened W/ My Old Ideas. I admit some of those ideas were dumb, but why arent they taken into some consideration. If I Hear Some Lame Modeller is sitting on his hands being bored saying that they got nothing to do im kicking his butt (serriously) and say heres some idea. I Know I should Take A Try At Modeling soon, i admit i feel its going to be kinda hard but i say im more of a idea maker dude. :confused:

I would like to see the Swedish Mauser k96 (my personal favorite, I own one :) )

here the pic (not a very good pic because the color of the rifle is to light and I believe this is a newer version of the rifle because the one I own is a 1900 model and is darker and longer also the bolt is straight.)

I Know your busy i always know you are. After seeing AlternationFiles. What I mean is for those others who aren't busy ie: not you, right now. I pefer you more at the time cause i've seen your work. I know im Stuck W/ MOH:AA Cause I dont have PA Yet. So My Point IS im not really forcing you to do it now, just get your main job done first, then secondary. Because Mods Take A Long Time To Make and to perfect.

I guess your right, well at least i tried. Time 2 Close it by not posting. and if someone else wants to post in it then by gosh take a stab at it. cause i cant get a bloody answer cept why dont you learn how to skin since we skinners are busy w/ alot (no offence, guys). Well The Reason I wrote this thread is so's that people can post their ideas and have someone approve or disapprove them. And i kept it alive so's that it can have a high rating as for example RealWar.

Again Keep Posting your ideas freely, and if this thread disappers to the back burner ie: bottom of the list and no one wants to reply. then fine im not going to try to save it. ey!....in rifle servers the m1 garand is not allowed.....so if someone can made a mod with a springfield rifle(without scope) who will remplace the garand it will be a nice idea :P
