New question about mapping

Does anyone know if there is a limited size of skyboxes i can made?
If yes, how large is it?
Can i go byond the size of the grid?
Can i "weld" some skyboxes with anything in it togeter to create a bigger map?

I need to know this becouse i planned to build a realistic as posible raiway station. So i need a mile.

As far is i know ( ive never tried though) you can't go off the grid or it isnt wise too anyway. may be a skyportal setup would allow you to do what you need , if you have spearhead take a look at the berlin map that comes with the sdk.. it allows the map itself to use the full grid. dunno if it works in allied assault though.

stay on the grid. expect your large map to be laggy. put no-draw on backside of skybox. skybox does not have to be a box but can conform around your objects. keep any objects/brushes from protruding thru skybox.
throw in a heap of fog to keep fps high. learn how to create vis_leaf and hints. good luck.
