The only strange thing is that I recieved an email about the recall after i got my replacement cord.

i still havent bothered to get the replacement... and probably wont. i have had my xbox for the longest time and have had no problems...

heh. Yea, what's a fire these day's anyway's right? I mean you will probably be able to get out, and the insurance will cover the rest. I don't think your relative's will mind you staying at there house for a while until you and your family can find a new home, seeing your old one burnt down because you were to lazy to call up xbox and get a new cord.

Kind of strange how you still haven't received your cord yet gizmo. I received my new cord within one week of placing the order for a new one.

I got mine about 3 days after I ordered it. That means it took 24 hours to process and two days for delivery. Spot on.

Yea, i received a letter in the mail about this some days ago. I guess it does pay off to register your products ; D My xbox is one of the originals (class of 2001 10-17) and it's great the letter even told me it. Makes getting this cord a no-brainer
