Can an english 360 HD DVD Player play region 1 DVDs, or just our region?:confused:

Yeah, Xbox gave it up, there are SOME still availible in some stores, but they're hard to find. To answer your original question, I would assume that they are region locked, just like a PAL 360 will not play NTSC games.

Ok i did not ask where i could get one from, because i already have one.
I just want to know if it is a multi region DVD player, as i am region 2 and i want to get a region 1 DVD.

So is it multi region - YES or NO

Well since you won't be able to get movies for it anymore, I see no reason to keep it around. No-one is going to buy something that is pretty much useless and it will just end up gathering dust in the corner anyway.

When you do burn it though, get the proper protection as it makes a nice loud colorful bang after it burns for roughly 15 minutes, lol.:rofl:

to answer the original question, no I believe that the HD DVD add on for 360 is region locked, but I'm not entirely sure so your welcome to try it
and besides you pick up multi region DVD players on the cheap if your that worried about it
oh and if you do try to sell it, don't expect much, my local game shop had a job flogging one for £25

I suggest that you re-read the replies I made. Especially the bold text in the replies I quoted which clearly answer the first and second questions. Both of those replies you seemed to be completely oblivious to, which is why I quoted them and put the main point of that reply in bold text so that you would actually see them.

Oh, and the HD DVD addon is useless. Just throw it away.

There is one advantage to keeping it though, as there are still many stores selling the hd-dvds cheap to get rid of them :) (I know that HMV.co.uk ) have several that are a lot cheaper than the blu-ray equivalent. So not completely useless yet ;)
