WTF i do read the replies before i reply. Your the one that dont read them! I said does it or does it not play region 1 DVDs, and straight away you say burn it burn it, not really a good answer is it really *tisk* *tisk*

I suggest that you re-read the replies I made. Especially the bold text in the replies I quoted which clearly answer the first and second questions. Both of those replies you seemed to be completely oblivious to, which is why I quoted them and put the main point of that reply in bold text so that you would actually see them.

Oh, and the HD DVD addon is useless. Just throw it away.

There is one advantage to keeping it though, as there are still many stores selling the hd-dvds cheap to get rid of them :) (I know that HMV.co.uk ) have several that are a lot cheaper than the blu-ray equivalent. So not completely useless yet ;)

The HD player is region locked i can not play region 1 DVD's on it as i am region 2 there thats my question answered...happy? right then lets forget that i even started up this thread.
