objective maps

hello

new to this, here's my question. when I download map missions I get two types of maps, one works ok, the other is an objective map which mohaa recognises, puts in the obj list under maplist but then says that it can't load an objective map in a non objective system.

Can someone educate me please?

thanks

Is this the normal Allied Assalt, Speahead, or Breakthrough?

Re: objective maps

Are you opening the map by maplist (console command) or starting a server?

If you start a server it will work fine, not when using maplist.

You will have to start the server manually, maplist is impossible for starting OBJ maps. (Or so I've been told- I could be wrong.)

Once you've started an OBJ map, try typing devmap "MAP NAME HERE" and the map location

If you don't know what the hell I'm talking about, keep reading.

Just type maplist in the console, and you'll see a list of maps. Click OBJ- more maps.

The map name you want will be there.

Now in the console, type devmap *mapname here*.

For example, if you wanted to start a DM map in single player, type devmap dm/mohdm#. (# is anything from 1-7)

Get it? Or did I totally confuse you?
